5 /5 Pat Greenberg: Once again, Dr. James Vlassis and his staff have gone to extraordinary lengths to care for me in a professional and caring manner. I called at 9 on Monday morning with a tooth that fell out while I was home sick and became painful over the weekend. They got me in at 10 am, told me the remaining part of the tooth was badly infected, gave me options and performed the implant procedure I needed right away. I went home before noon and I was so relieved! By the next day I was feeling quite comfortable again. Dr. Vlassis is the best periodontist!

They wouldnt take his information, stating that he himself needed to call. After taking my information, I never heard back, even though I have private insurance. On the day of the appointment, we get an email telling us we need to wait in their parking lot and they will text us when theyre ready. After now reading the online reviews, all of this is coming into focus- they appear to be a money- grabbing scam, unprofessional and off-putting.

But after experiencing this place firsthand, I regretted everything I said. What an amazing experience! My three-year-old son, who usually can’t sit still, was calmly sitting and having a blast while the doctor and nurses did their work. And remember — this is a dentist’s office! Most people dread going to the dentist, but this place completely changed my perspective. They have so many dentist doctors available, which makes scheduling easier and ensures you’re always in good hands. The nurses and doctors were incredibly patient and caring. You could genuinely feel how much they treat each child like their own family member. Now I understand why “family” is part of their name. They also have a TV hanging on top. If you have kids and are nervous about taking them to the dentist, I highly recommend bringing them here. You won’t regret it!

Joe Tripodi: I was a little skeptical after seeing a couple recent one star reviews (that after looking into seem to be the same disgruntled person on multiple accounts signing off with “karma” at the end) but had my first appointment with Dr. Tung today. He was personable and honest even going as far to show me some smaller cavities with a mirror and asking if I would like to keep an eye on them instead of a preemptive filling. The staff was kind and professional and my follow up visit was scheduled in a timely manner.

Very unpleasant dental assistant (skeletal thin with dark hair), and they also clearly would rather not have to deal with insurance companies so appears they aim for a clientele that feels no pain when paying a large bill!
