5 /5 Prince Aziz Hunt: I went to JNR Salon for a consultation about my locs and a retwist for them, which included a washing service. I ending up getting way better service than I was expecting. I traveled from my college down in Fredonia, NY to Buffalo and it was completely worth the trip. Their salon was so professional, official and aesthetically pleasing. It was like a hidden wonder of Buffalo. In my session there for my hair I was taught everything I truly needed to about my hair and how to take care of it in the future. I really needed to see a specialist, because I was at a point that I felt like I had to give up on locs. I didnt know how to truly how to take care of them or if they could be saved. Fortunately, I came to the right place and the stylist that I worked with - Gloria James, assisted me in educating me about my locs and she took care of them while doing so. From revealing to me why I was having breakage, how to reduce damage in the future, a regiment I need to follow to restore my health to what it could be, giving me a treatment to help my scalp and locs, restoring what locs she could in the time that she had and more. I found everything that I was looking for in my experience at this salon. I will gladly come back for another hair appointment in the future. I already have an appointment booked a month from now and Im dearly looking forward to it. Following my retwist I ended up buying a big bonnet that I could use while I was sleeping to protect my hair. I am very happy with that product as well. I highly recommend this salon to anyone who is looking for a professional experience in hair care. Its worth the trip.

5 /5 Jenny Cartagena: My first experience meeting Jennifer, the owner and stylist of JNR Salon, was fantastic. Visiting Buffalo, NY, I decided to take a chance and see if there was any availability for a trim and blowout to prepare for a concert. Despite the very short notice, Jennifer graciously took me in immediately.She examined my hair, which was very dry and dull, and mentioned that if she had more time, she would love to wash and use some of her products to hydrate it. I told her I wouldn’t mind waiting to experience her full range of talent. Jennifer, sweet and determined to revive my hair, made the time to do so. With care and expertise, she transformed my hair, making it look luxurious and concert-ready.The only regret I have is not living in Buffalo to have Jennifer as my regular hair guru. Thank you, Jennifer, for giving me a glamorous look for the concert and for your wonderful product recommendations to keep my hair luscious. You are amazing!

I walked into the salon and was immediately greeted by Jennifer. She showed me where to go and checked in during my appointment! Nina suggested at my last appointment that I try a structured gel manicure because I use my hands a lot and gel just wasn’t lasting. My set now lasts me until my next appointment!! Nina has always made me feel welcome and her service is 5 stars!
