3 /5 HAUNT Reviews: This haunt was not scary. It was more like you entered into rooms and they did little skits.This is not your pop out high intensity haunt! The hayride was basic and short but the actors saved it!! VERY cool creepy vibe! The house was the best attraction of the night. To be honest, I would revisit just because it’s such a cool place. The staff was into it and actors good! Would vist if you live close to the area! Alex

5 /5 Sam Ryz: The haunted hayride and haunted house were an amazing thrill to the island. I was super excited for the opportunity to experience this right in our hometown. Everything was perfect from the moment you enter to the music the lights and the actors inside of the home. This is definitely a must visit and worth every penny of the $25 they charge.

5 /5 Tilman Benecke: Impressive place located on a hill in the southern tip of Staten Island. Perfect film location with quite a lot of violent history. The "Boardwalk Empire" production team from HBO couldnt escape the beauty of this place either.

The Noble Maritime Collection - Staten Island

Erik Z: This is an amazing experience it contains a lot of information and features many amazing art pieces by John A Noble. Most of the maritime ship art is by Noble. The museum features 3 floors and offers many rooms that serve as recreations of old ship cabins. It lets you see what it was like living in one of the ships. It also contains tons of ship models. Theres actually so many things to see in this museum. Its hard to believe that its free. You can pay whatever you would like to see this museum. The staff were also very kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Alvin Ho: Really nice place to ride a bike and explore. The park is not entirely opened yet. When I went there was supposed to be a guided birding tour, but it ended up being an "explore" yourself kind of a day which I didnt expect.

Alexander Lyakhovich: Pleasant and quiet park lots of grass to run around, exercise equipment, basketball courts, sprinklers. Nicely rebuild a year or two ago. Modern well-maintained bathroom.

Celeste Hoppey-Broder: Took Rob Stein’s Hard Hat hospital tour. Rob was extremely knowledgeable and informative. I had a deeper appreciation of what our ancestors endured to come to our wonderful country. Museum at Ellis Island is incredibly interesting and well thought out. Found my grandparent’s names on the Wall of Honor. Had visited many years ago but definitely worth visiting again. Easy hop on the Ferry to Liberty Island another fascinating place.

Ellis Island Hard Hat Tour - New York

Lynn Kamrowski: Loved this tour and recommend it to everyone. I forgot our tour guides name ( an retired gentleman) but he was super knowledgeable. We came in April on a weekday for the early bird special. Was not busy at all. Our tour had 11 people in it. But it wasnt too busy on the ferry or the islands either and no line to get thru security. Google maps took us to the wrong direction, thankfully there was a sign so we just had to drive another few blocks up.

Battery Weed - Staten Island

cdk007: Battery Weed is one of the largest structures at Fort Wadsworth and what most people come to see. It is named for Brigadier General Stephen Weed who was killed at Gettysburg in 1863. Originally named Fort Richmond, this gun battery was one of a pair built at the narrows to protect New York Harbor. By 1835 Fort Richmond had deteriorated and was rebuilt in 1847 to the structure we see today. The battery housed four tiers of guns totaling 116 facing the water with an additional 24 flank howitzers. Today the battery is only open for guided tours, so make sure to reach out to the parks service before you plan a trip there to make sure youll be able to go on a tour.
