All of the ladies are great but Fabby & Maya are exceptional, they both do an amazing manicure & pedicure. No matter how many people are waiting, they will always take their time with the current client and not rush through like other salons tend to do. My cuticles are awful and they grow like weeds, both ladies clean them up to perfection even though it probably takes an extra 5-10 minutes. The pedicure is my favorite, they use an AMAZING sugar scrub that feels delicious during the massage!!
Walk-ins are welcome but I would suggest making an appointment. Thank you Magic Nail for always making my hands & feet look like a million bucks!
AAA Nail Spa - Staten Island Haydee Correa: I used to go here for bikini waxes. One day I noticed a couple of the Asian men who work there standing inside the store. They disappeared after I asked for a wax. As I was looking up at the false ceiling, waiting to get my wax done, I saw one of the ceiling tiles diagonally across from where I was lying down being removed and one of the men I had previously seen outside of the store poked his head through the ceiling in an attempt to catch a glance of my lady parts! DISGUSTING! When I noticed him, I quickly got up and told the woman who was supposed to do my wax. She didnt understand or acted like she didnt. When the man saw I had noticed him, he quickly stuck his head back up into the ceiling and replaced the tile. Luckily, the lady had not started yet. I told her what I had observed. She acted like she didnt understand English. I left. I shouldve called the police. God knows how many times that peeping Tom has done that to unsuspecting female customers! DO NOT GO THERE FOR WAXES!!!
Tatyana beauty spa - Staten Island Melodie: I got a soft Gel Magnetic cat eye effect manicure. The salon is very clean and the staff is very friendly. Sandra is amazing and works very quickly and efficiently, there hasn’t been anyone I’ve gone to on the island that can do a French nail as fast as she did. They have good equipment, I like the steamer they use and the second UV light under the table that makes curing your nails more efficient. Overall, I recommend them!
Bebe Nail Salon - Staten Island Nicole MaeNg: I go here consistently, prices are good, staff is nice, i make appointments and usually never have to wait, I also really like the pedicures too. Gives me a euphoric feeling of when it was 10 years ago getting my nails done. lol i like
Kims Pink Nails - Staten Island Marmora Patrick: I don’t really do reviews but this place was very, very, very poor. Today, I decided to give this place a chance. However, I genuinely wish I didn’t. This was the worst experience I ever had. The manager so rude , not nice at all. They did not have the several colors that I preferred. She made me pay extra for absolutely nothing, when I already paid extra for powder gel, for a total of $61, they took money off of me for changing the powder gel that THEY were mistaken for and THEY gave me the wrong color but I was punished. Very poor staff, very unprepared to work and VERY unprofessional service. She is a thief and WILL take your money.
Do not go to her. And I chooses for their collection but they don’t have for two colors I picked light gold and milk color both of them don’t have !
EverNew Nail Spa - New City Oz: My first time visiting this nail salon today has completely exceeded my expectations! Everyone was warm and welcoming, the interior is beautiful, and everything was immaculate. My children came along with me and the staff was so kind and accommodating. Jenny did an AMAZING job, she gave me an honest recommendation that I really appreciated and ultimately my nails are beautiful - you can tell she really cares. Pedicure was also a great experience! Any negative review must be from a busy weekend day, but where isnt it busy on a Saturday? I will definitely be back!
ZW Rainbow Nail & Spa - New City Keydy Mendez: Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience here. The service I received was a pedicure. Every time I would ask for some adjustments during the pedicure (ex: I asked if he could cut one nail shorter, and for some of my nails I still had a bit of grime under them so I asked if that spot could be cleaned up) I was met with attitude (eye rolling, sighing, shaking head). I understand having a bad day or other things going on, but it was uncomfortable sitting through the service you are paying for and receiving that type of treatment. Won’t be coming back :(
JK City Nails and Spa - New City Ariel Ross: Before and after pics. Sophia did an amazing job filling over my acrylic nails. She cut, filed, and shaped my nails perfectly. She even cut my cuticles. I usually get my nails done in NJ, but if I’m ever in the area again I would come back! This salon only uses gel or sns, they don’t have acrylic so I got a gel fill.
New Lily Nail Spa - New City Betty Diaz: Went there for my first time Thursday for a gel manicure . The way I was greeted What do you want ? Rude…nail polish was dry lady had to put in the towel warmer . Of course Thursday night my nails were shipped. Went Saturday morning . Greeted What do you want? Again Rude…. I was the only person being greeted like that. Everyone Else ,Hello. What can I do for you ? Extremely RUDE ….I was mistreated, horrible experience ever . Didn’t even put lotion after done with nails . Never going back !
