1 /5 A B: My normal go to salon was closed and I needed to get my hair done for an event I had the same day, I decided to come here. I was hesitant to go into a Dominican salon because I’ve never had a good experience at one. That being said I am 100% Dominican. My mom was salon owner for over 20 years in Brooklyn. I know the Dominican salon business pretty well. I called before anything asked how much a blow out was and they $50 and up & immediately was like HEREE we go! Making prices up yet again. Fast forward I get my hair washed and the entire time I’m getting completely soaked, the lady was washing my hair without my neck resting on the chair. So I was basically holding my neck up the entire wash. My neck was throbbing the entire time as water was getting into my back and on my clothes. I ended up getting charged $70!!!!! For a regular blow out!! That’s criminal! I swear they make their own prices up. My go to salon is only $40 for a blowout and the interior design is beautiful, new chairs, clean space. This Dominican salon is dirty, old and dated. They use old brushes, old blowers and they charge $70. I would never go back here again

Not only is she skilled in her craft, but she is also a delightful person to be around. She is incredibly understanding and accommodating to her clients needs, while also providing her own expertise. My curly hair has always been a challenge to manage, especially after I unintentionally damaged it while experimenting. However, Lucy was able to work her magic and help my hair heal. She not only fixed a poorly done haircut but also provided a color that made my hair shine. Thanks to her, I feel beautiful and confident once again.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
