Angelina Potter: I have put off going to a salon for a very long time. Getting ready for an important vacation and I needed to get my hair done. I prefer being able to make an appt online and chose this salon because of that and the high reviews. I am terrible at making decisions, especially about my hair. Isabella helped me decide and she did a great job with my hair. I love it and will be back again.
Jonathan Jenkins: I have simple hair, so I normally take who is ever available and they all do great work. Each one has their own unique style, so I do get a bit of variation, which I like.
Maggie Bonomo: I recently worked with Jennifer from Salon 129 for my wedding, and I absolutely loved her! She has an incredible knack for seeing exactly what you want and making it happen. Jennifer really listens and collaborates with you to ensure your hair looks just the way you envisioned. She took her time during my hair trial, trying out different styles to make sure I liked the way my hair looked.
She is also extremely accommodating, adjusting her schedule to fit everyone in. We had nine people getting their hair done, and she managed to finish ahead of schedule by an hour. Her talent shines through in the personalized suggestions she makes based on each person’s hair type. Additionally, Jennifer is very responsive, making the entire experience smooth and stress-free, I highly recommend her.
Elizabeth Clapp: Toni had created a place that is soo much more than a salon. She’s curated the things she’s passionate about and loves to share with others. I was listened to, entertained, connected with other clients and oh yeah got a terrific hair cut and a little treat for myself on the way out. In a city full of amazingly run small businesses this one too has something amazing to offer. Pop in, look around, enjoy.
Candace Messner: Willow Salon is easily the best salon in Rochester. The space is absolutely gorgeous with incredible attention to every detail and always incredibly clean. Every time you walk in for your appointment your greeted with a smile by everyone there. The best part is of course my stylist Alyssa. She always listens to whatever I am feeling that day and makes whatever that request is happen perfectly. She has me leaving there feeling beautiful every single time. Thank you Willow Salon!!!
Patti Holland: I relocated back to the area and needed to find a new hair stylist, after a 13 yr relationship with my previous stylist. Some of you may appreciate how hard this can be! My hair is fine and as I’ve aged it has become a bit thinner and more wavy. I was growing out a chin length shaggy bob and wasn’t sure if I wanted to continue down that road or go shorter. Karlie was amazing to work with. She listened to me, asked questions to be clear on what I was looking for, played around with my hair to get a sense of its texture, etc. Together we decided on a short cut. She gave me an expert cut using a razor and I love my new style! It feels fresh, brings out its natural wave, is stylish and easy to care for. I highly recommend both Scott Miller salon and Karlie.
I also had the most amazing facial with Christine. She took the time to listen to my concerns and expertly recommended an approach for the facial for my skin and its condition. I don’t think I’ve ever had a facial with someone so skilled and knowledgeable. She ended with a neck massage that soothed my stiff neck. It was such a renewing treatment. My skin looks and feels wonderful and I have a plan for my aging skin going forward that I feel comfortable with and is manageable for me.
