5 /5 John S: Ive been going to mid-Hudson dental since at least 2007 or so. Almost 20 years. Yikes! Some years back the front desk staff seemed a bit disorganized but things have run smoothly in recent years. The practice today is mostly Dr. Chris had he has done very well filling the occasional cavity or root canal. The one time I needed a more specialized root canal he referred to me to another dentist who was an expert in that field and was pain-free after a week of discomfort. That was more than 10 years ago and the tooth has not been an issue since. I also finally needed to get my wisdom teeth out and again a referral to a specialist who performed the extractions very well. Dr. Chris father, mostly retired, and also a dentist occasionally pitches in with exams and is also very thorough and experienced. Highly recommend this practice having been to at least two other dental practices in Dutchess County earlier in my life, neither of which are no longer around. Only downside is cleanings are generally booked some months out, but if you have flexibility with your schedule, they can usually squeeze you in on a shorter notice.

1 /5 Erich Behrendt: INSURANCE FRAUD - this "establishment" has committed insurance fraud against me. In 2022, I attended a "free" Invisalign consultation. However, two years later, I received an unexpected bill from their office. The invoice didnt explain what the charge was for, so I contacted their office for clarification. I was informed by their secretary that the charge was for three dental cleanings within a year (since insurance only covers two). However, they had billed my insurance for the Invisalign consultation as if it were a "dental cleaning." I told the secretary this was clearly fraudulent and that I wouldn’t be paying. Interestingly, she agreed with me. Please be cautious—if this can happen to me, it could happen to you.
