This shop provided great service, plays good music, and has excellent customer service. Will definitely book another service.
Vanity Hair Studio - Poughkeepsie Jody Danna: I have seen Alyse for over 10 years now. She also cuts, highlights my daughter’s hair. She is amazing. I get compliments on my highlights and the color a lot. I trust her with what should be done to keep my hair at its healthiest. I have also had the pleasure of seeing Savanna who I would recommend for keratin treatments for the spring and summer humidity. Both of these artist are kind, caring and truly make you feel like your a friend.
Halo Couture Inc Hair Salon - Poughkeepsie Kathleen Sauerman: My daughter, mother-in-law, and I were in town for a family wedding, and we made appointments to get our hair done. This salon is amazing! Every minute of our time there was absolutely wonderful, and we will definitely come back again if were ever in the area. Everyone was kind, and everything was absolutely relaxing. I cant stress enough how much fun and wonderful this was!
591 Emmanuel beauty salon - Poughkeepsie coffee n.: Frances did a great job with my highlights, I think they turned out great! :) The price was reasonable, $210 total with a 20% tip, $150 for the highlights and $20 for the haircut. The first 2 pics are immediately after, and the last 2 are 3 weeks later. I definitely recommend buying their Color Revive product because the color does fade. Overall Im satisfied and I would go there again :)

Keiras Beauty Salon & Supply - Poughkeepsie Alexis Waller: She is excellent, I was in and out (I went on Tuesday). Anyway she’s super sweet and is really fast and efficient, you can’t find a lot of people that can do a good blowout. Just make sure if you’re leaving a tip to tell her before swiping the card because she really deserved one and I didn’t tell her soon enough. I recommend her for sure

The Hair Saloon Barber Lounge - Poughkeepsie Jennifer Frisenda: Kara is simply amazing. I went to her for about two years for my undercut and design. She was always quick and precise with her work. I would show her a picture of what I wanted and boom, she nailed it (Andy Bernard’s voice, please) every time. I highly recommend her. I decided to grow out my hair, so I unfortunately don’t see her anymore. But she was always fun to chat with and her work is amazing.
Clark Wood Hair Cut & Color - Poughkeepsie Marie Forestieri: This one is a keeper. By far the most talented hairstylist I have ever been to. Clark pays attention to detail and to what your preferences are. He previews your hair before it is washed in order to see what is working or what areas he can improve. He listens and his cuts are meticulous. Clark is the only stylist who blow dries my hair to perfection. I love hair cut day with Clark. BTW he is also a great conversationalist!
Anas Beauty Salon Unisex Corporation - Poughkeepsie Niko Konan: NATURAL HAIR GIRLS BEWARE!! I was natural for over twenty years. I went to this salon for a blowout. They were very nice but kept telling me my hair needed a DEEP conditioner. Welp. I did the DEEP conditioner and got a blowout. It was beautiful. Only when i went to wash my hair it didnt recert back to its curl pattern. Stayed straight and then started to breakoff as it grew out. They had perm in their conditioner. I have terrible breakage around all my edges. Im heartbroken that they did this to me. I now have to start all over again. This place should be shut down what they did was literally criminal.
