5 /5 George: I was very impressed during my first visit on New Years Day. I didnt heavily research the museum before visiting. I saw an ad & that was my excuse to visit the area for the first time. I was impressed with every aspect of this place. Over 160 cars, very friendly & knowledgeable staff. I spent twice as long as I expected without intensely studying each exhibit, about 2 hours. I enjoyed all of the exhibits. The Franklin exhibit was impressive & the 80s exhibit brought me back to my early years of driving. I also found the airplane engines particularly interesting. The ride from Syracuse is better suited for a sports car so I am looking forward to my next visit during warmer weather.

5 /5 Rich Knapp: Awesome museum for car lovers! Wonderful asset for the town to have this great car museum. Not fond of the temporary 80s car display, but thats a me problem not a problem with the museum. Staff are exceptionally helpful. Wish I had more time to spend during my visit. Will have to return soon.

Point Au Roche State Park - Plattsburgh

KC Travel: I visited in October, so it was not very busy at all. I went for a short, quiet walk down to the water. It was very peaceful. It was lovely just sitting there, looking at the beautiful colors on the trees & out across Lake Champlain. I left some Kindness Rocks at a couple of the trail heads and on a few of the MANY picnic tables available for use. I had a limited amount of time to spend at the park. I was unable to take advantage of the many trails, so I could not speak about those. Hopefully, if I have the opportunity to visit again, I will have the time to explore.

Plattsburgh State Art Museum - Plattsburgh

Nancy: I recently moved to the area and was excited to see Plattsburgh had an art museum but, unfortunately when I visited it turned out to be a disappointment. The museum website led me to believe that it was open year round which, it isnt. Located on the SUNY Plattsburgh campus, we walked into a dimly lit entryway with no clear signage or someone to greet us so, we began to wonder. Eventually someone arrived to open the door to the sculpture area on the 2nd floor. When I asked about the art shown on the website she said that they only display during the school year. I hope to return in the fall.

Wayne Dionne: Beautiful memorial and park. The obelisk has four sculpted panels that are beautiful. Would have been nice to take in the eclipse from atop this monument.

Kent-Delord House Museum - Plattsburgh

Theresa St. John: 4 star only because they were closed so I cant review inside. Grounds were beautifully kept, some historical information outside. Gorgeous gardens and the home looks like it was something else in its heyday. Upkeep looks like people care about the history and culture there. I want to get back up there and see the artifacts.

Cumberland Bay State Park - Plattsburgh

Y Davis: First time staying at this campground. Beautiful campground and clean! We didnt get a waterfront site but from where we were, we had some views of the lake(in between campers lol). The sites have no privacy between them so if youre looking for secluded sites with no one around then this campground is not for you. The bathrooms and showers are newer and clean. Kuddos to the staff there for keeping the campground clean! We went the day after TS Debby, the staff were hard at work picking up down branches. Well definitely be back!

South Platt St. Park - Plattsburgh

Bruce K.: I stopped here on a late Sunday afternoon when there were no ballgames going on. I was pretty much alone to cook dinner in the sprinter van, carry it over to one of the picnic tables and enjoy it. After a bit, a father and daughter came over for motorcycle lessons which was interesting to watch. The park is in very good shape with no trash, the ball fields looked good and there was plenty of parking. There is also a public restroom here. The park is open dawn to dusk.
