5 /5 Zachary Peelman: Little, historic park perched high on a bluff above the Hudson River with views of Athens across the water, the Athens-Hudson Lighthouse and sweeping views of the Hudson itself. The park could benefit from some paintwork on the metal fence and some grounds work

5 /5 Sophie Kowalski: My favourite place in town. The view is unmatched, the park nice and clean and the playground is well kept. Keep an eye out for bald eagles and ospreys, both can occasionally be seen here, the bald eagles have a nest on the Middle Ground Flats. Also you can watch the boat launch with all the involuntary comedy involved and in the evenings the sun sets over the Catskills.

5 /5 Crystal Loyd: I was very impressed by the views. I brought my chihuahua with me and we sat in the grass admiring the peaceful atmosphere. These are the moments that I hold most dear. Money can’t buy this kind of peace. Mother Nature, I am thankful for being blessed to see with eyes the beauty of planet earth.

5 /5 Audrey Michelle: Beautiful historical park with views of the Hudson River. We enjoyed views of the landscape & Berkshire mountains. There is a walking path for a nice stroll & a modern playground for the kids. Located at the end of the main street, there is lots nearby. Free parking.
