K P Murali: The Walkway Over the Hudson is another great place to view the Hudson river. Originally this was a rail road track which got burnt and was later converted into a pedestrian walkway. Its also the world’s longest elevated pedestrian walkway. You can also cycle on this walkway. Found it a bit confusing to reach the start of the bridge as Google maps sent us around in circles. Its better to set the destination on Google maps as the Visitor Center @ the Walkway over the Hudson. Visit walkway.org for more info

Theresa St. John: Nice place to spend a few hours hiking. There is an art trail, made in honor of a young person who loved art and the woods. It was icy still the day I went there, just had to be careful in shady areas where the sun was scarce. Very peaceful, there were places here and there to sit and watch the water run by. Loved being out in the fresh air for awhile. They also have a vehicle that can be reserved for people with mobility problems. Ill post a picture of it here. I was happy to see that! Staff was so friendly and helpful.

Virginia Wenzel: This is a beautiful mansion that has an interesting history. It shows the evolution of tastes and styles that each generation of family embraced so it has an eclectic taste. The docents were very informed and made the tour informative. I enjoyed it so much that I took a friend to visit it two weeks later. It has a nice vibe.
