Tonys Auto Repair - Brooklyn
Luis Garcia: I got my rotors and brake pads repaired here on a Kia. First time service was great. I had my check engine light come on my F150 and took it to this same shop. I was told that I needed to change out the purge valve so I did and the check engine would not go away. Then I was told to change another piece that I special ordered at the dealership and I tried to come back to get my truck fixed. After numerous attempts I kept being told that the shop was busy. I lost patience and went to another mechanic. Come to find out I DIDNT HAVE TO CHANGE OUT ANYTHING IN THE TRUCK. The whole time it was a wiring issue. The wires were sitting on the exhaust causing the wires to strip and this is why my check engine kept coming on. What a giant waste of time and money!!
PETIT AUTO SERVICE AND REPAIR LLC - Brooklyn
Farah Petit: If you want to have peace of mind in terms of car repair and maintenance, if you wanna be satisfied about the work done in your car each and every time, then this is the place to go. The quality of services and transparency are top notch. Gone are the days when I had to go from car shop to car shop, frustrated and upset, back and forth to fix the very same problem that they assured me was fixed three days ago. Anxiety about my car performance is a thing of the past. I would recommend PETIT AUTO SERVICE... to anyone who needs a reliable place to have your car taking care of and as a final destination. The relief is priceless.
Jfk Auto Repair - Brooklyn
New CK Auto Repair Center Inc - Brooklyn
Nora Wang: SCAMMER ALERT! I wanted to get my oil changed and he asked if I wanted “$45 or $65” (exact words that came out his mouth). Then I told him I’m not sure, but he gave me an attitude saying “how do you not know? It’s either $45 or $65”. I ended up calling my dad in front of him. My dad told me to just get $45 so I told that guy to do the $45 oil change. After he acknowledged it was $45 I asked him how long it was going to take. He said 10 minutes so I waited outside….20 minutes passed… so I decided to go get a drink. When I came back I heard my dad arguing with the boss and the worker that changed my oil. APPARENTLY he said I told him $65 instead of $45. The boss also does not care and demanded we pay $65. I felt like they tried to scam me because I’m a girl and didn’t know which oil to change to so they took this opportunity. I felt so helpless and my dad had to pay them $65. If only I knew… and took a video of the whole process as evidence. What should I have done differently? Should I have called the police?
J & J Auto Repair - Brooklyn
Leonardino Rodriguez: The mechanic makes a great job and respect
L & M Foreign Cars - Brooklyn
Ivan Abreu: Professional establishment with amazing communication. Certainly worth every cent, I’ll be sure to refer to them and bring all of my vehicles to them. Ask for Bill, he’ll be sure to take good care of you. Hard to find honest and transparent mechanics. They went above and beyond and did the little things that make doing business with them worthwhile. I’m happy I’ve found this location.
Jimmys Auto Repair Corp. - Brooklyn
Abena K Brown: Jimmys Auto was recommended to me by my previous mechanic when his health issues was becoming too much for him to keep working. That was in 2014. Ive gotten a newer car since then and I still have my maintenance and upkeep done at Jimmys. He and his son Chris are so pleasant. Jimmy is more of the prankster with his wit and humor. However all jokes aside Jimmys is the place to go for good service at fair prices.
Renees Auto Repair Service Center - Brooklyn
Phillip Hollander: I dropped my 94 Honda civic at this shop three times.First time was for an oil change. Second time Renee worked on my clutch and gave me a transmission flush( HE WAS ALREADY EQUIPPED WITH GENUINE HONDA MANUAL TRANSMISSION FLUID) so he got my respect right away with that one. and just yesterday he gave me a new power steering rack/alignment. This man is honest, very mechanically inclined, also uses fair pricing.he is a true underdog, I believes hes underrated in the community and deserves more recognition. He gave me a business card and his motto is, "excellence is not an option its a requirement" - it damn sure is. Im glad I have a mechanic walking distance from my house that I can trust and is reliable. He also works on German engineering as well which I believe is his specialty because he has a bmw as his store logo. He provides service for all domestic and foreign vehicles. Definitely use this man before you think about taking it to a dealership .(Below is a picture of him welding a part of my exhaust to stop the rattling)
Parkside Service Center - Brooklyn
Rachel Baldwin: I used to regularly take my car to the service centers, but was so overwhelmed with trying to understand what service my car actually needed at its current mileage that I turned to Parkside for help! Theyre very trustworthy and told me exactly what I needed done on my car for regular maintenance, and were able to do the NY state inspection required to register my car here. They were incredibly kind, friendly, and knowledgeable, and Im so happy I brought my car here for service!
Professional Auto Care - Brooklyn
Korlue Panye: Previously went there for a wheel alignment and my alignment felt off so I took my car back. I Got there 12:15 left out 3:15 with no work done. It was 1 car ahead of me and when that car was done they let another car go ahead of me. I never leave reviews but this shop is first come first serve basis and what they did was extremely unprofessional.
