5 /5 Andrew Watson: These are well maintained gravel trails that weave through the golf course. They have different exercise stations along the trail with pull up bars, etc I was looking for more of a rough trail to hike, but these trails are stroller friendly. All in all it was a pleasant experience and I will return.

4 /5 Block Sebastian (Bean): (This review is mainly for bikers or skateboarders, etc.) It was pretty nice, but lots of sharp inclines which, god, did make it extremely hard to bike. The downhill ride, down the entire mountain though, was f a s t and pretty worth it to be honest. Just, sometimes Id find dead ends and the zoo entrance where admittedly I went face first into the metal fence. lmao But yeah, overall a pretty good experience. And, yeah; basically, for anyone biking or going down the hill on some sort of vehicle, please be careful, theres a golf course in the middle of the trail, lots of sharp inclines/downhills, and just extremely bumpy and extremely hard to ride your bike up the hill even if its an electric one (mine wasnt, but I bet itd be hard for those too). So, in conclusion, lots of walking even with a bike. lmao

Chancellor Park - Utica

cam: We come to this park pretty regularly. Its always a popular spot for weekend cookouts. The playground is kept up and fully functional, and we love the big open grassy area; perfect for kite flying, races, tag, cloud gazing. The skate park is abandoned and not kept up on, and the tennis courts appear the same.

Allysa Rader: I searched "playgrounds near me" while visiting Utica. Wow. The playground equipment is in disrepair, broken, unsafe. The weeds and grass are all grown up around the equipment. The field around it wasnt mowed. The painted games on the blacktop were faded. Its basically abandoned.

Rosamond Gifford Zoo - Syracuse

Katherine: The boys (2yr, 3yr) love coming to this zoo. It’s a perfect little loop outside to see the animals and then a couple exhibits indoors closer to the opening. We’ve enjoyed the food in the cafe and dippin dots when the weathers nice. We always bring a double stroller and have not had any issues navigating around. Usually spend around 1-1.5hrs roaming through. Highly recommend!

Museum of Science & Technology - Syracuse

Jillian Rorrer: This is a really large museum with a lot of cool options for kids of various ages. We went with our 2.5 year old and stayed around 3 hours exploring (a lot for her). The website and google pictures don’t do it justice—it has a lot of educational and fun activities. Pro tip—keep your toddler away from the giant play structure if it’s busy. The big kids in there are busy little bulldozers, the toddler section is lame, and there’s plenty of other more fun and age appropriate things for toddlers throughout the museum.

Onondaga Lake Park - Liverpool

Elise Keledjian: I love pace walking here. It’s full of life and everyone who walks, runs, cycles are here! It’s on the Lake so the area is quite pretty. Enjoy looking at the lake and on the other side the very beautiful homes. It’s dog friendly and great for children of any age. It’s in the Village of Liverpool and in the summer there’s always something going on. I pace walk from early spring to late fall. I grew up around here and yes it’s changed over the years but now it’s still has its special place in my heart!

Rebecca: I had a great experience with friends! Shoutout to one of the workers Dylan was super helpful and friendly, made the experience more fun! A great price for all the stations and rides plus laser tag , good for kids of all ages! Also very educational stuff, not very crowded and no wait line so you don’t need it buy tickets in advance.

5 Wits Syracuse - Syracuse

Allison Matteson: This is a ton of fun, very interesting as you get to do multiple puzzles and physical challenges. Would be really fun for team building or even younger kids as the story narrator begins to give clues when you havent solved the room in a reasonable time. Its different than escape rooms as you are not looking for keys and combos, but more completing a puzzle to move on. I really enjoyed it.
