Shays Place Forest Hills - Forest Hills Alison Morris: Five stars is not enough! This place was so amazing, especially Ivan, who was my stylist – they were so great and took me as a walk in! Ivan was the best and checked in with me throughout the trim that turned into a haircut to make sure I was comfortable with how much we were taking off (We ended up doing more than I initially thought because the ends were so dead and he double checked before doing anything). Not only was the cut fantastic, Ivan gave me the MOST GORGEOUS blowout - he did not even have to use a straightening iron once! I cannot oversell that enough, I have a long, thick, curly hair, and this man gave me the most gorgeous fantastic bouncy blowout with just the brush and the hairdryer. 100 stars all around, I cant wait to go back!! And, it was so reasonably priced!

So on Tuesday while just browsing I came across to Mos SaLon in Flushing. I read the reviews and I can attest that Jason is very talented. I showed the picture that I wanted and Jason explained everything and recommended what best for my hair.. It took hours but it was so much worth the money!! Each time that Jason will put something, Jason will explained it first, which was very nice and that’s how it should be..
All in all, I was so happy and even recommended to my friends.
Haiier Hair Salon - Flushing Stephanie Lin: Kevin is an exceptionally skilled stylist who delivered phenomenal results on my hair. I came in with a vision for long curtain bangs and showed him an inspiration photo. Unlike other stylists I’ve worked with, Kevin consistently referred back to the photo throughout the process to ensure he was achieving exactly what I wanted. He took the time to fully understand my vision before starting, and he was meticulous in checking in with me at every stage (confirming the length, layers, and steps as he worked).
His expert suggestions added a professional touch that made the final result even better than I had imagined. I’m thrilled with how my hair turned out and will definitely be returning for future cuts!

Horrible experience, for just a wash and blow dry with the round brush. Please go to any other hair salon before considering this one.
Edit in response to the “owner” of this “business”: Instead of using your time to create a fake business to boost location ratings on Google Maps to help boost the original business in the EXACT SAME GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION, how about you use your time to teach your stylists how to wash hair? Maybe then the real business’s ratings won’t be so abysmal.

I went to this salon on New Year’s Eve 12/31/24 wanting a refresh on my blonde balayage hair. I’ve been blonde for 13 years plus. So I booked half head balayage, olaplex treatment, haircut, blow dry and curls w Jeff’s. During the consultation Jeffy suggested I do something different. Xcellent Hair Plaza - Astoria Helen Scully-Nisa: I had an amazing experience at Xcellent Hair Plaza in Astoria. I decided to try this salon after having a terrible experience at a very trendy place in Flushing and I’m glad I did! Anthony did everything right: he listened to what I wanted, stopped to check in with me to make sure I was happy with what he was doing, and explained what he was doing and why. There was no point where I was worried or felt ignored, which was important to me given prior experiences at other salons. I got a cut and color balayage and I’m thrilled with my results.
Everyone at the salon was incredibly friendly and attentive, the prices are very fair, and the quality of work that’s done is stellar!
Style Glam Salon - Flushing Danya Rashid: I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this salon. I asked for a simple blunt cut with angles in the front, but the results were completely botched. The angles were uneven, and even the back length wasn’t cut straight. This was by far the worst haircut I’ve ever received. I would strongly advise others to avoid this place.
Yaffa Salon & Spa - Hollis Hills Kathia O: Each and every one of the stylists and helpers are amazing at what they do! Super friendly and helpful. For the first time in my life, I decided to go for a big change and had full highlights done by the lovely Ana! She was efficiently quick and chose a beautiful color for my highlights. I have been receiving many compliments since! Amanda has also been very helpful/amazing, as well as Daniel (: , and I cannot wait to go back for any hair related services I plan on doing next
HAIR NATION by Camilo Vergara Hair Salon - Queens Angela Barnes: Once again Camilo was able to completely transform my hair , I wasn’t completely sure what I wanted but Camilo worked with me giving me his input and together we were able to come up with a look that I was very happy with. Camilo knows the science and chemistry of hair well and is very diligent in explaining details , he’s always full of ideas . I had the Magic Sleek straightening treatment along with highlights and a new cut.

As I mentioned above, I was advised to return later for adjustments to my hair, as the service wasn’t completed to my satisfaction. Since I paid the full price for the original service, I want to confirm that no additional charges will apply when I come back for the fix.
Additionally, could you please let me know who will be handling the correction when I return?
