One Nail Studio - New York Kay: I went here with a couple of friends for manicures and pedicures a couple days ago and we did not have great experiences.
For my pedicure: the water was room temperature rather than warm, there were no jets on in the soaking tub, the nail lady barely scrubbed my feet, and did not wash the products off my feet properly leaving the soles of my feet green. I wish I took pictures. One of my friends and I then had to walk on the dirty floor without slippers despite there being a stack of slippers. When I asked for a pair of slippers because I did not want to put my feet on the dirty floor again, the nail lady brought me paper towel to place underneath my feet lol. When painting my toes, I also had to instruct the nail lady to add another coat because there were spots where the coating obviously was not enough.
For my manicure: I’ll insert the pictures below. The paint job was inconsistent. The nails started chipping/peeling off the following day and had air bubbles all over them. I paid for the polish that was supposedly to last longer… I honestly want a refund for this shabby job!
When we left, we paid and still tipped them. But, I was complaining about the soles of my feet being green when a couple nail ladies overheard; they told me that it would go away once I took a shower and it did. I also complained about having to walk barefooted in the shop as my toes dried. One of the ladies condescendingly tried to give me slippers after the fact, asking if I wanted a pair of slippers as if they were useful to me now that my toes had dried.
Overall, not good experiences. I’ve been to many salons and this was the worst experience ever. Do NOT recommend. I have never had a pedicure and left the salon with ashy green feet. I even had to ask them for lotion after the pedicure to moisturize my feet lol. This place seemed to have good reviews, but you’re better off DIY than going here. I wonder why our experiences were different…

For months I’ve been contemplating a Russian manicure but was skeptical because I’ve gotten painful cuticle inflections after other nail shops have manipulated my very sensitive cuticles. Scrolling on IG Mira’s shop pops up. I tried my luck and she was so sweet and patient over the phone and was able to fit me in same day.
I walked by the place because they’re on the second floor and there’s no good signs. So that’s one thing she can fix. Although it may not matter as you have to be buzzed in anyway.
Mira was polite, welcoming and explained the process. Offered a beverage like coffee or water. She also made recommendations when asked. I didn’t feel like her suggestions were a money grab add on, they seemed genuine based on my description to her.
RUSSIAN MANICURE l Nail studio - New York salma B: I have been doing my nails for many years, but Ive never felt 100% satisfied—until I found this place. Its truly magical! When I get my nails done here, my Russian Manicure can last over four weeks and look as good as new. I don’t have to worry about chipped cuticles, and I receive compliments from everyone who notices my nails every single time.
The atmosphere is both relaxing and spotless, and the technicians are incredibly professional and skilled. They take the time to consult with you, ensuring you get the perfect design, shape, and color that you desire. You never feel rushed; they really focus on delivering perfection and precision. Additionally, the receptionists are delightful and make sure you’re well taken care of. Theres hardly any wait when you arrive for your appointment—at most, you’ll only wait about five minutes, and they’ll even offer you beverages and candy while you do.
I have been coming here for two years, since their last location, and I can confidently say I will never go anywhere else. I adore everyone here and feel so grateful to have found such a wonderful place!
Nails Manhattan Russian manicure - New York Melissa: I decided to try a new manicure place and that’s when I met Irina. She takes her time and is meticulous in her work. I never feel rushed and she ensures I am satisfied with the length and shape. My nails are healthier and last longer than before. Irina helps me find the perfect nail polish color, and those small details make a significant difference. She is amazing and I look forward to coming back!
Nail WAH - New York Hà Phương Vũ: This is my nails after 3 weeks. Absolutely love this place. My nail tech (I believe her name is Young Ji) is very gentle and did a very great job. She made sure that I like the color and the shape before moving on. I’m pretty picky when it comes to my cuticle skin, she did a great job but it was still not the best for me. The salon was cleaned, all the tools they use were sanitized, which made me so impressed. The pedicure was okay, not too excellent. I guess the pedicurist was new, but they’re all so nice to me. I paid $50 for my manicure, $60 for pedicure, which I think pretty reasonable. Definitely have to go back if I have a chance
Top Pretty A Nail Spa & Salon - New York Kelly Siz: Had an awesome gel manicure today at an affordable price. She let me pick out a cateye color for a regular manicure and its absolutely stunning. She took her time on filing, shaping and cutting my cuticles. Definitely will be back

Jessica is my technician, and she is incredibly talented and professional. She ensures everything is perfect every time.
I tried nail extensions for the first time here, opting for an almond shape, and I’m obsessed! Jessica always brings my vision to life, even without me picking the color. I receive many compliments, and my nails last for a month.
The salon is always busy with both manicures and pedicures, so I recommend making an appointment ahead of time. The place is clean, relaxing, and easy to get to, not far from the subway. Highly recommended!

Mega Nail &Spa - New York Allison Salzman: Salon is nice and feels clean. Nail techs were pleasant. However, my $55 dip powder manicure did not last a week. On day 7 I had two nails fall off completely cleanly. I went in and they fixed them without any fuss, although I did have to wait 30 minutes. The next day another nail came off. Very annoying. Unfortunately I wont be going back except to have this manicure removed which hopefully they won’t charge me for ($15 for removal).
