DK Adams: The people were very friendly. The music was good and the message was even better. We plan to visit again for their Sun service.

Thomas Miller: In the early 1840s, Mary Warren founded a church.
A quiet plot. Stone laid by hand. Purpose in every line. By 1844, her son, Nathan B. Warren, raised the nave.
Alexander Jackson Davis designed it—simple Gothic lines, tall windows, deep light. In late 1848, a chancel took shape.
Richard Upjohn’s work. Clean arches. Still air.
It was dedicated in January, 1849. Cold outside. Warm candlelight within. Two years earlier, in 1846, voices filled the space—
America’s first full choral service in an Episcopal church. In 1863, just south of the church, the Mary Warren Free Institute rose. A simple building. For music. For faith. For learning to sing the sacred.

Jason Chaput: After 30 years of not going to a Catholic Church, I have recently attended Mass at Sacred Heart Church on Staten Island. I was very nervous about going, especially confession the day before on Saturday before Mothers Day. It was an Amazing experience of feeling like returning back to the most comfortable place you have been in your life. God Bless everyone and come to Sacred Heart Church. There’s place for anyone and everyone.!!

Roy Kim: Best church in Staten Island ever, in my opinion! I’ve lived in Staten Island for 41 years, and they are the best I’ve known. I say that because they are humbly striving to live biblically-based lives for the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I’m not a member, but I serve here and enjoy the fellowship of believers in the larger Church, the body of Christ which is composed of all who believe and have tasted and seen the goodness of the Lord! Stop by a Sunday service to hear and see!
