Staff was friendly. Office is a little tight so maybe wait outside if you see someone else at the desk. Didnt seem like too much to do around thats walkable but with the money saved uber/Lyft was more than doable

5 /5 Signul: I recommend Sato to everyone I know who has car problems. Theres a reason that they are always busy, they do good work and are fairly priced. In a country where everyone is trying to get the every cent they can out of you Sato can pride themselves on their integrity and dont try to take advantage of people. Ive taken my moms car (2005 Scion XB) here and theyve kept that thing running after 2 car crashes. Amazing work, their mechanics are good and they are a bright spot in the Westchester community. Not to mention their front desk guy Geo, hes smart and has great memory. Very knowledgeable and personable, thats my guy. Shoutouts to Geo! -Dillon

Jon Quimby: Sal’s auto service is a great place to take you vehicle to get worked on. They are a family operation and definitely take the time to go over every aspect of your vehicle and what you might think is wrong. They are especially good at handling some of the older model vehicles on the road still. Personally, I have a 2008 Infiniti and a 2016 Honda and they have kept both vehicles running smoothly. I would recommend anyone looking to have their vehicle fixed at a fair price to check them out.

I’ve brought my car in several times in the last few years for small things like oil change and tire rotation to bigger items like replacing my compressor. Marc is very courteous and easy to explain your problem to. Jeff and the rest of the office staff were also very welcoming. They made pick up and drop off a breeze. If there was ever an item or service that I was recommended to add but couldn’t afford or didn’t feel was necessary, I wasn’t pressured into keeping it. Would definitely recommend for car maintenance and bigger repairs.

Upon having had a fender bender repaired recently on my RAV4, I was very pleased with their quality of work and professionalism. They do great body work, handled all the communication with GEICO about my claim so my need to be involved was minimal, and I got my vehicle back to me in less than 2 weeks. Tony and Albert are both a pleasure to deal with. Would definitely highly recommend them and will continue to use them for any future auto repairs I need.

Lisa Lothian: Zero rating. I had the most unprofessional experience in my life. I was totally shaken by Steve’s yelling and hysteria over an issue. For fear of a lawsuit over a simple tire issue he refused to let me drive my car off the premesis and insisted on towing a perfectly drivable safe car to my home. All I wanted was to get my car out of his care. He was loud, rude and sounded paranoid. He hung up on me twice as I simply tried to ask if he took credit or cash. He ended the conversation in loud irate tones stating he takes cash only for towing and said he didn’t care if I paid or not. Good thing. I had no desire to pay $200 for rude and unprofessional service. Very sad. I was totally shaken over the whole ordeal.

Roseanna Alarcon: Told them to get my husbands truck ready for winter, advised that the rear brakes were squealing. They returned the truck saying it wasnt the brakes but something else in the rear. He didnt even check the lights because there was a light out that I told my husband about. Another mechanic said the rear breaks were the original ones! Metal on metal! They are lucky nothing happened or they would have a lawsuit! Stay away the mechanic is shady or lazy!
