1 /5 Destiny Sharp: If I could leave zero stars I would. My car was taken to Scal-Koll from the Basil Toyota dealership to be fixed due to an accident. Ever since they had my car, Ive had nothing but issues with this place. The receptionist at the front desk, BRENDA is nothing but rude. I called at least once a week for an update on my vehicle and it was always a hit or a miss when it comes to her attitude. After a month and a half of them having my car, they called me and said "your car is all set and its ready for you to pick it up". I went there to get my car, was given my keys and when I got into my vehicle to go home, I realized my check engine light was still on. I walked back in side and told the receptionist that the engine light was on and she said " well, bring the car back tomorrow at 9am and we will run codes to see whats going on".. Thats exactly what I did. I brought my car to them the following morning and they sent me home in Brendas car which has a crack in the windshield and the inspection has been past due since March. I was not authorized to drive this vehicle but I had no way to get home. I was called back a few hours later and was told the car was all set, they just had to reset the codes and there was nothing wrong with the engine. I got back in my car to start it and again, my check engine light was on. They said that it was normal ware an tear on my vehicle without even looking to see what was going on. I called back after I got home because they couldnt tell me what codes were popping up for my engine, even though they ran and ERASED codes then told me it was all set. When I got home, I did a full walk around my vehicle to make sure everything looked okay and realized that there is a piece missing off my windshield passenger side, my bumper was not put on properly and there is a silver piece on the bumper that is barely attached on the passenger side. They then told me they arent equipped to handle it so I had to take my car to the Nissan Dealership. My car sat at the Nissan Dealership for two weeks while it was diagnosed on the first day of them having it. The diagnostics was sent over to Scal-Koll immediately and they decided themselves it wouldnt be approved through insurance so they didnt send it to the insurance company handing my claim for my vehicle. I had a rental car for 10 days because my car was in the shop. I wasnt contacted about the diagnostics when I called the insurance company, they said they still hadnt received anything from the company even though they had requested it. I called Scal-Koll to figure out what the hold up was and yet again spoke to Brenda. She gave me an attitude like I was nothing but an inconvenience to her.. She said she didnt send it to insurance because it wouldnt be approve (insurance told me that it isnt up to the collision place, they had their own inspectors and adjusters that make the decision of whether its approved or not). I asked to speak to a manager and she told me there as no manager but she would get the owner on the phone. He got on the phone and I began telling him what the issues were. I explained to him that the second time I brought my car back for the engine light, I was told by (who introduced themselves as the head mechanic) that if the engine light popped on, it was most likely from the accident. The owner on the phone then told me " you spoke to me and Im not a mechanic".. after going back and forth on the phone for about 20 minutes, I explained that Im not happy with their service, with the service from Brenda at the front desk, and that my car was not fully fixed EVEN THOUGH INSURANCE ALREADY PAID THEM FOR THE WORK and that I really didnt feel comfortable bringing my family car back to them. He told me " bring the car back and Ill finish fixing the problem, or dont up to you" with the nastiest attitude. He said he stands by him work and I told him he shouldnt. There are literally parts loose, on wrong and missing from my vehicle, which he then insinuated I may have taken them off myself. DONT TAKE YOUR VEHICLES HERE!!
