05-2025 Selah Hair Studio in Discovery 19 Beauty & Hair - near Poughkeepsie, NY page 1C & C UNISEX Hair Design - Poughkeepsie cheyenne cortes: I would give this place zero stars, but that’s not an option… I went into the salon, asking the stylist if she can do My hair like the picture I showed her she told me yes afterwards I had informed her that I already had box dye on my hair from over a year ago and then she continues to tell me she was able to get my hair like the picture I showed her I asked for a full head of highlights, and I came out the salon with my hair almost looking the same as when I came in. Overall, the hair trim I got was choppy and She did not give me the highlights I want they are Chunky… The price was $210.. the manager insisted i pay full price for an incomplete service while I showed my dissatisfaction for my hair he still insisted I pay full price for my hair after I got a choppy hair cut, chunky highlights with uneven color, and with my hair only blown out and not straightened. Even though during our conversation he had mentioned that if I already had a box on my hair, the hair style I wanted to achieve was not possible. He still insisted for me to pay $210 after he admitted my hair should not have been worked on definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and the middle aged manager with glasses and gray hair(male) did not keep his composure at all he definitely made the whole issue worse he did not act like a managerial figure. DO NOT GO HERE
Skye Studio - Arlington Shelby Adrian: If you are looking for a Team to doll you up on your wedding day, look no further! The Skye Studio Team traveled from the Hudson Valley to Central Connecticut for our wedding in August and I cannot rave about them enough! They are timely, efficient, and will leave you feeling like a million bucks. Much love for these ladies. Book them, you wont be disappointed!
Sola Salon Studios - Poughkeepsie 3x _Cam: I got my haircut here for the first time and was very nervous since I’ve had so many bad experiences getting my hair done but I am so glad I went here!. I got my haircut by Amanda and she was so patient, she took her time, and kept asking me about the length and if I wanted to go shorter, she was so nice and easy to talk to. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone they can do anyone’s hair and the prices are pretty affordable!
M.Ts African Hair Braiding - Poughkeepsie Mary Brown: M.T is amazing I was really impressed. Her hands are so gentle. I am very tender headed and I didnt feel a thing while she was braiding my hair or after. She was very polite and welcoming. She offered me a beverage and snack. After sitting there with her I felt very comfortable. The atmosphere very is amazing. M.T blessing too you and your business. You definitely have a new customer.
Golden Hour - Buffalo Nita Bhatia: Jordan is simply incredible. She did my bridal makeup and thank god she did! Not only was my makeup perfect, she knew exactly what to do when I didn’t have many specifics. I got so many compliments all day and the makeup lasted all night.
I have truly never felt more beautiful, thanks to Jordan. It was way beyond what I expected. Not only was everyones makeup stunning, she is so fun and I loved having her around while getting ready! I couldn’t recommend Jordan more for her services, it was 10/10 all around!
Mane Haus - Buffalo tim shantler: Ive been to many barbers over the years, but none have been as helpful—let alone as excited—as Sam and Kelsey at Mane Haus. They are both incredible artists who truly care about their customers, taking the time to understand not just what you want, but what will actually work best for you. Their passion and expertise make all the difference. If youre looking for a salon that goes beyond just a haircut and actually helps you get a handle on your hair, this is the place. Highly recommend!
New Age Hair Salon Buffalo - Buffalo Leah Marie - Mindfully Ready: I just had my first appointment with Amanda, and wow, where have you been all my life?! She specializes in curl cuts, and it makes such a difference to work with someone who truly understands texture and curl patterns. I went for a huge change today, cutting off a lot of length, and I’m so glad I found the right person to make it happen. Amanda is warm, welcoming, and so easy to talk to. I couldn’t be happier with my experience. Highly recommend!
Thou Art Beautiful Hair Salon - Buffalo Bri wholts: Would leave a 0 star but there is not an option. Shop focuses more on gossip than doing hair. I would never go back here. Stylist had a nasty attitude and yanking my hair. Went down the street to Natural beauty for them to fix what this shop messed up. They are very professional. Watch owner responds with an attitude and sarcasm like she did with the rest of low ratings. Very sad & unprofessional. Ugh. 0 star
