Kajuan Douglas: St. Johns is an extremely welcoming place. As an advocate for diversity and inclusivity, this Church is in the right alignment. St. Johns welcomes all, no exceptions. Everyone was friendly and inviting, which I needed as a recent Kingston transfer. Sermons given by Michelle Meech are sincere and honest. The church is also very charitable and socially conscious. What more can a person ask for? I encourage religious and nonreligious to experience this place.
    Haruka Kiritani church - Kingston

Clinton Avenue United Methodist - Kingston
Anne Lang: Nice community fellowship, but look out for Pastor Joy McVane. If you do something she doesnt like, she could blast you over the phone, saying things quite inappropriate for a Pastor to say to a parishioner. Or, she could fire you from a volunteer position via email, with no explanation. Never willing to humble herself to admit she may have made an error of communication, or, not talk in person at all. Go to enjoy the fellowship, but be wary of Pastor Joy. She could hurt you, and never acknowledge it. In addition, if you keep trying to get her to discuss the difficult issues, in a kind and Christian way, she will SEND THE POLICE TO YOUR DOOR.
