5 /5 Jesse Bisceglia: I found adventure at Catskill Game Farm. Exceeded expectations.... which were already high! Exploring the grounds and buildings was a blast and super interesting. Being able to roam around this place that was once so different was a once in a lifetime thing. Really enjoyed it. I ran into staff members who enhanced the experience a lot with their friendliness and conversation. We stayed at the Mountain View Tenterr site, which was great. If youre interested in urban exploring sort of things, its a must do.

5 /5 Holly Vaughn Wagner: We went for the abandoned zoo part of the property - and enjoy the 3 hours we spent exploring the grounds - but the really impressive part is the inn. Sorry to say we didnt stay there, so I cant tell you much about the rooms, but the remodeling and decor of the common areas are STUNNING. Theyve done such a beautiful job! And the owner was communicative and helpful every step of the way. Visiting the Old Game Farm was a highlight of our trip to the Catskills.

5 /5 Michelle Nye: We recently stayed at the Old Catskill Game Farm for a celebration event with a group of friends. What a wonderful experience! The Giraffe barn has been renovated into a beautiful air bnb, preserving parts of the history through signs and other artifacts. Shawn, who helped us with booking, gave us an amazing tour of the grounds. We were accompanied by his goats. The rooms at the air bnb are beautiful and animal themed. It was perfect for our group of 7, with extra space. I am already looking forward to returning in the future! This is truly a unique experience.

5 /5 Fernando Gomes: A great piece of history in New York. An old abandoned zoo turned into an Inn and Luxury Campground through Tentrr. The staff is very friendly and personable, and even though the main Inn is amazing, and the Campground is beautiful, (we stayed at the overlook site) they spend alot of their time working to improve every chance they get. The rest of the abandoned zoo is open for exploring which we did and it is fascinating. Great place and staff is amazing. Well be happy to come back.

Kaaterskill Wild Forest - Saugerties

Sompob Prasertkun: I’ve seen this in the picture for awhile. My friend took me there. It was about 2 hours drive from nyc in Catskills area. She said parking lot would be so full on weekends. We start walking to see the overlook first. Then continue to walk down to the lower part. The trail is in good condition. We went on a dry day. I imagine it will be very slippery when it rains. Walk was pleasant. Then we walk up to see each level. You can enjoy dipping your feet in the water or you can go down to play in the water. Is such a beautiful place. I highly recommend. But be ready to walk upstairs take your time because it could be steep. You might lose your breasts. Hope you enjoy.

Kunjamuk Cave - Speculator

Dominic Artuso: Really cool experience with this cave! Heard about it while on vacation and took a trip to visit it with friends. Has a nice trail leading up and a bridge with river view. The cave is pretty small but still neat to see and take some nice photos!

Beach - Speculator

Margie P: Nice big lake with a beautiful view. The Beach part of Lake Pleasant is FREE. Only thing with bathrooms they are across the street on the other side near the playground. And there is no food stands here. Very important to note that there is NO Lifeguards here!

T M: This is a great place to experience and learn about Adirondack history. I encourage anyone, any age, to spend time exploring the many buildings in the property. Loads of exhibits and fascinating recreation of life from the past complete with multi media presentation.

Herkimer Home - Little Falls

Theresa St. John: Very nice location out in the country. Peaceful. Nice to learn some history about the very early days of our country and its people. They do have tour guides who can guide you around and there are places to picnic with family, relax and soak it all in. Landscape is well-done and property beautiful.

Fort Herkimer Church - Mohawk

Tim Welch: Cool church that served as a fort during the American Revolutionary war. Its worth a stop to see the unique stone structure. It still has gunports from the war built into it.
