Chrysler Building - New York
Chrysler Building
Frederik Van Hecke: The Chrysler Buildings ground floor reception is an absolute hidden gem. Stepping inside for the first time, we were immediately struck by the Art Deco masterpieces exquisite interior. The polished, inlaid walls and the stunning ceiling mural create an atmosphere of timeless elegance. The craftsmanship is breathtaking, a testament to the buildings iconic design. Its a serene and beautiful space, a stark contrast to the bustling New York streets outside. A truly remarkable architectural experience that left us utterly impressed.
Statue of Liberty -
Statue of Liberty
Paul Ger: Visiting the Statue of Liberty was a great experience. Booking tickets in advance made everything seamless—from the ferry ride to pedestal access. Seeing the statue up close was incredible, and the museum at the base, with its exhibits on the statue’s history and design, was a real highlight. I had pedestal tickets, and while there’s a lift, it was temporarily out of service during my visit—so I took the stairs. It was manageable but might be challenging for those with mobility issues. The views from the top were nice, though not spectacular. Next time, I’d plan ahead for crown access, which needs to be booked months in advance. There’s one food court on the island offering pizza and burgers. As expected, the food was basic and overpriced—bringing your own snacks is a smart idea, especially with all the walking. Security was airport-style but efficient, and there were no issues bringing drinks or light snacks. Overall, it’s a must-see New York experience—perfect for photos, history lovers, and anyone wanting to connect with this iconic American symbol. Definitely worth the visit!
Union Square Park - New York
Union Square Park
Sabena Singh: The sun was bright and surprisingly Union Square Is Park was empty. The farmers market’s stalls were there since the early morning. So were the chess and backgammon players - $5 to play a game of chess. No political rallies were on as this park is famous for having all kinds of protests. I enjoy coming here not only for the farmers market on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays but to walk through enjoying the scenery. Various shops surround the park and it’s lovely to sit on a park bench enjoying people watching.
Belvedere Castle -
Belvedere Castle
Paul Ger: Belvedere Castle in Central Park is a hidden gem that blends whimsical architecture with stunning city views. Its medieval-inspired design and intricate stonework make it a charming spot to explore, and the terraces offer panoramic views across Manhattan. Built in the 19th century as a decorative folly, the castle now offers a peaceful escape right in the heart of the city. Despite its central location, it feels surprisingly secluded and serene. A must-see for anyone visiting Central Park—unique, scenic, and full of quiet charm. 5 out of 5 stars!
Cherry Hill - New York
Cherry Hill
Tamorra Jackson: My first time visiting NYC and I had to stop by and visit this beautiful and infamous place. Snow was blanketing the park, so it was quite lovely to see during this season. I also wanted to visit the notorious scene location from John Wick. ā˜ŗļø
The Mall and Literary Walk - New York
The Mall and Literary Walk
Prosun Roy: If you are at the Central Park, the Mall is where you have to take a Walk. A fantastic promenade that connect the Play Area with the Bethenas fountain. The lush green foliage is soberly interluded by the granite presence of Literary greats.
Pier 84 at Hudson River Park - New York
Pier 84 at Hudson River Park
Jenn James: We enjoy our time on the pier and while we made the tour on the boat. Great activity
The Battery -
The Battery
Chuck Paone: The Battery is a true gift. The gate way to Liberty Island and the land of dreams Ellis Island. Beautiful park. Just right now there is a massive reconstruction project going along the shore line that blocks the magnificent view. Standing on a bench you can see the harbor, not the best option for many.
Door to Nowhere - New York
Door to Nowhere
Camille Paturel: Saved up for 3 years to be able to bring my family to this door. Wont spoil much, but it was amazing. Highly recommended attraction for those with an adventurous spirit!
Questing NY - New York
Questing NY
Rohit Nayak: Loved the questing experience. The clues were challenging enough (but not too much so) kept my nieces excited enough to keep going on until the end. In all it was a wonderful experience for all of us. For me (a 5.5 yr NYC resident) - learning about the nooks and crannies of the financial district and for my nieces - learning about NYC in a unique way. Loved loved loved the experience and highly recommend this to the folks who want to experience NYC in a fun unique way.
