If you are from out of town no worries! He is very accommodating for his patients, I live four hours away, I was able to do a virtual consultation over the phone and less than two weeks after had the surgery! Dr. Shatkin is with you every step of the way from help with financing, surgery, appointments, questions or concerns to your beautiful smile! He goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy! My bf had to get an emergency tooth pulled and they got him in the next day! I’m at 1 1/2hrs away but it’s so worth the drive!! Not only was their work perfectly performed but it was delivered with warmth and ( of all things to say about extensive dental work) gentle humor. They really wanted me to be totally satisfied and that showed in all of their actions. One never wants to go through involved dental work but if need arose, I would return immediately. Also, a special shout out to Jennifer at the front desk. She sets the warm, welcoming tone from the minute you arrive.

Mahdia: This review is NOT for residents or staff members! 5/5 for overall dental services especially the residents were really doing great. My mom recently had done root canal with Dr. Derek Lin. She felt no pain and it was her best dental experience so far. He was patient, dedicated and, empathetic. However, the parking lot gave me headache fr. I didn’t know we were supposed to get pass for Tower lot as I was running late for the appointment. Later, I ended up with $30 ticket for vehicle violation when I parked for a valid reason but forgot to get the pass. I had my student permit, probably they misunderstood and thought I parked there as a student. At least they could give me warning citation first but, a violation ticket for valid parking reason?

Ms. Jonesie: First and foremost I am grateful for Dr Wood and is staff. Dr Wood rescued me from a dental implant gone wrong. After consultation and the importance of maintaining good vitamin D levels the implant procedure was scheduled and the process completed. The implant looks like my original tooth! I also had mercury fillings removed and replaced with porcelain caps. In both procedures I experienced minimal pain. His office is updated and has state of the art equipment. His passion for the craft and care for his patients definitely shows. Wood Dental is an asset to Buffalo and the Dental Community.

And I honestly couldnt be happier! I was having a bit of a dental emergency and they were able to get me in quickly. All of the staff is so friendly and helpful. I ended up getting my tooth extracted and Dr. Geise and his assistant were great the whole time! They made sure I was comfortable and communicated with me through the entire procedure. And Dr. Geise personally called me days after the extraction to make sure I was feeling better and healing properly. Excellent customer service, friendly and knowledgeable staff and a clean and comfortable office. I no longer hate going to the dentist!

Jennifer Lynn: I wish I could give zero stars. My son was neglected during his appointment. He was scared, needed reassurance, and to be shown he was good and safe. Instead he was given a poor excuse for a cleaning, neglected xrays, and no dental plan. His twin sister, was treated great during her appointment, however when asking questions I was treated very poorly for wanting to know what was being put in my child’s mouth. She then asked for a prize with the other kids at the treasure chest, and was ignored by several adults. One even made the Conscious decision to TURN the chest away and let another child pick a prize. How disgusting. I am saddened this was our experience and at the end, both my children were treated so poorly.
