jermar lang: This storybook church is wonderful. Ive attended for more than 50 years, even after I have moved from the neighborhood. My wife & I were married there 20 years ago, and although we do not attend weekly, it will always be part of our lives. Pastor Bill and the congregation are the warmest, most compassionate people you will ever meet. Please visit and join us for coffee after the service.

Shaynee Oh: I recently decided to check out the Youth group because I was looking for a warm welcoming accepting Youth Group in my area for my 14 year old and totally found it. Pastor Willie is Phenomenal, kind, supportive knowledgeable & brings the youth & kids together. He does an Outstanding job of trying to ensure no one is feeling left out and to have a great evening of a fun activity and a wonderful Christian message. The youth are down to earth, friendly and not trying to act hard which shows a lot of character. The staff who support him during the evening are also top notch as well.
Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church - South Ozone Park
Our Lady of Perpetual Help Roman Catholic Church
Denise Law: Beautiful church, friendly priests and parishioners. You will feel like family here. Parishioners and their children are actively involved in altar serving, seasonal role-playing, or Sunday School. There are daily masses at 8:30am, 3 English masses on the weekend, and one 12pm Spanish Mass every Sunday. The organist is talented and the cantors voice is angelic at the popular 10:30am Sunday English mass. The stone walls hold huge, colorful stained glass windows, and there are impressive life-sized marble statues.

Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church - Kew Gardens Hills
Rosemary Forkin: I attended the former Queen of Peace School from 3rd grade till graduation in 1970. It was a great school. I transferred there after we moved to Kew Garden Hills from Inwood in upper Manhattan where I attended St Jude from K-3rd grade. When mom passed in 2006 I was planning her funeral mass at Queen of Peace.Father Tighe told me the school had closed. Sad to hear. I made my confirmation there, attended Mass there and mom liked the church so we held her funeral mass there. It was always a beautiful church. One of my cousin’s atttended the school from 1st grade till graduation from 8th.
