I went for a blood work and for my surprise doctor Loris assistant didnt know what to do or, what I was doing there, she said that my appointment was for no more than 15 minutes and blood work takes 45. Completely none sense but the worst is that she just let me know that she didn’t care about my personal time, she didn’t bother to find what the misunderstanding was . She told me that I need to come back soon because I haven’t had my blood work for almost 2 years, but she didn’t know why I was there today. I hope never have to put a foot in there again.

Hanna lgrace: Was a patient for 10+ years under Dr. Ramani who was detailed, attentive, and kind. She retired. NP Caserta has been awful. Office itself not great. Rescheduled my annual appointment twice, delaying it by 4 months. During the year and 4 months I had a rare abdominal cancer diagnosed (5 specialists in NYS treat it) and two abdominal surgeries including a hemicolectomy. This was through 2 separate hospitals. You would think your GI specialist would want to sit down and review a significant change in history with their patient, or at the very least ask "how are you doing after all that?" Wrong. She spent less than 2 minutes in the exam room. I was the last patient of the day on a Friday afternoon. She obviously could not care less and wanted to get out of the office. Would have considered switching providers within the office but considering the multiple reschedules, the fact that they called my EMERGENCY contact to verify my surgical history (which they then did not review at the appointment), and overall do not seem to document in the chart who spoke to the patient... absolutely not. I work at a medical office and have no idea how theyre getting away with this complete lack of charting. I left the appointment in tears at the total lack of care. I went back in and spoke to the clinical staff who roomed me to express my concerns. I did not receive any apology or follow up from NP Caserta. Unprofessional and distasteful practice.

Destiny Joubert: I cut my finger today with a serrated knife & I was so scared. I was welcomed in with such hospitality, I was cold & a nurse instantly got me a heated blanket and pillow. The three nurses were so sweet to me, they took care of me and were gentle and kind. Allowed me to feel the way I did without hostility, but with patience. (I was very nervous) they cared for me & were very quick. I’m extremely pleased with my visit to the emergency room today & would highly recommend anyone here. Thanks to the three wonderful women who took care of me today & thanks to Sam the nurse practitioner :)

Julie Brand Asbornsen: Very nice front office staff, but I was billed for a test for my child that I did not approve. I was not told of the extra cost up front, nor asked permission for the test on my minor child, and received a surprise $300+ bill three weeks after the appointment. When I spoke with the head NP on the phone (Carla Darrow), she was very curt and accused me of lying. Then she actually began to yell at me. Very unprofessional. I hung up the phone in tears. Although I am very upset about the bill (and believe that the office staff had no intention of trying to pull one over on me -- it was an honest error on their part), I feel that I actually dodged a bullet by having this occur, as Ms. Darrow acted extremely unprofessionally when speaking to me about the issue. I would not want to entrust the healthcare of my loved ones to a person with such a high level of aggression and a low level of people skills, empathy, and compassion.
