1 /5 JG: Very welcoming to select oppressed groups but leadership is unapologetically rude to white, educated men who they view as collectively bunched together and guilty by association. Intolerant of those in non-trendy groups. There is no real oversight of bad behavior within the congregation as seen by their bias against the Salvation Armys soup kitchen that feeds the poor and hungry. Tolerance has been replaced by group think and rude, intolerant comments are doled out with impunity by those that clearly should know better. An atypical UU congregation, more a club than a consistently applied faith-based practice. Many truly kind and tender souls in this congregation, hopefully they in time, can right the ship.
