5 /5 Gail Yetzer: I have experience me personal belief in Our savior in many ways but the utmost way was when I was a young girl. My father was a Korean War vet being a medic in the war he was injured twice in the line of duty. His last injury having been very extensive to the point where he was thought to be dead and was placed in a pile of dead soldiers. Another soldier having seen him breathing stated ‘ This man’s not dead ‘ and my dad was removed and stabilized, then taken to Walter Reid Hospital in Washington DC. As the fine doctors worked to save his life they lost him briefly on the operating table. During this time my father saw a vision of God, standing in front of him, long hair , beard, white robe with sash, misty clouds around him and the holes in palms of his hands reaching out to my father. Then he was gone , the vision , not my father. This was the only story my dad ever told about his experiences of the war. He was a religious man, he didn’t go to Church , ever! And this recollection was ALWAYS the same. So my belief in God has always been strong because of my fathers experience. I lost my father in 1983 he was only 51 years old. I honor his memory by telling his vision and holding God in my heart and knowing he is there!
