    J. W.: Are you looking for a faith community in Syracuse? I was in the same situation back in October 2021 and attended a Sunday service at Forward Point for the first time. What I hoped for, was exactly what I found: A group of people living out the gospel and doing life together. They dont just talk about it, they practice what is preached - and not just on Sundays! Whether youve never been to church before, youre currently seeking the Lord for the first time, or you even grew up with faith and have been away for a while - wed love to have you join us!
St. Pauls Syracuse, the Downtown Episcopal Church - Syracuse
desmond thesongwriter: I walked in very late and instead of greeting me warmly, the usher told me that I had missed 90% of the service.
    Holy Family Church - Syracuse
Heidi Farfaglia: This is a beautiful parish. The community is very welcoming and warm. The pastor here is humorous and charming, and really makes you feel welcome at Mass. It is easily spotted from West Genesee Street, and has parking on the side of the building and an extra lot behind the church, across the street that runs behind it. My grandparents attend this parish, and have been doing so for 70 years. Just a lovely church.
    All Saints Church - Syracuse
Emily Teeter: I am so thankful to find such an accepting, kind, and safe church after moving out to Syracuse for school! This church aligns with my values more than any others I have visited.
    Life Church - East Syracuse
Silvia Landas: Love this church and the people! The Pastor is genuine, transparent and funny. He explains the Word in a way you can understand. I always come away with an understanding and perspective I didnt have before.

    S. Jan: The nicest little big church I have seen. I believe this would have been the church I would have attended for sure. I was moving back into town after being gone for 45 years but it just didnt work out with best friend forever her & I did so much together. Wish it wouldve but it was not in the cards. Sometimes you just have to live by yourself. I took over 2 bags of food I just bought & another misc. bag of items. They were very very greatful & I am sure I will have more for them before I leave soon. Thank you Jennifer for meeting me on so short of notice. God Bless

Abundant Life Christian Center - East Syracuse
Nate Heitmann: This place is far from a church; its all for show. Its a Broadway production with contemporary music and hour-long TED Talks. They are just a scam; they want your money. They preach tithing and giving money every weekend without actually doing good for the local community (pretending or lying about giving to the local community or urban youth). They have the rudest church security team, especially the female one, who feels the need to ID or question church guests who leave the main auditorium to use the bathroom or buy something at their coffee shop. The programs they offer are a joke. They might have some study or small groups for adults but are limited in things to do for kids or young adults, and nothing is free for members or guests. They charge for every small group or activity you attend. They offer very little outside of their worship services. The only thing they have going for them is their overpriced coffee shop. They dont want regular people off the street attending their church or becoming members; they want people who will tithe and give them money. The churchs leadership is led by a husband and wife. The head pastor also has a few books that seem to rip off Joel Osteens work. I told myself I would never attend here again after two services because I didnt feel right there, as it felt like a sales pitch or pressure to give them money after a bad experience with an usher who made me move to another section of the sanctuary. I said I was done.
