1 /5 Chloe Cook: An absolute horrible company. I had an issue in November of 2024 during Black Friday sales. I had a very expensive ordered. Due to this I used Klarna to pay for it and made my first down payment. I purchased 24 items and only received 2. The remainder of my items were miss delivered by a company I have never heard of before in my life, OnTrac. The photo provided of my package was a close up of a box(literally couldn’t see anything besides the brown box). If you have an order telling you it’s being delivered by OnTrac, CANCEL IT. OnTrac is a horrible company and I have no idea why Hot Topic would even trust them to deliver customers packages. I have email confession proof from OnTrac that they delivered the remainder of my items to the wrong house. I spoke back and forth with OnTrac, Hot Topic and Klarna for the past year. OnTrac and Hot Topic constantly deflected and told me “You have to contact the seller there’s nothing we can do about this” and “You have to contact the delivery service because it’s there fault.” As a customer, I have received horrible customer service and am disgusted. At this point…this is complete and utter theft. I am unable to be refunded my down payment from Klarna because they need Hot Topic to refund them first. Hot Topic has continued to not refund Klarna because my order is “marked as delivered.” Meanwhile I never received it and have the proof. Klarna has tried to continue to charge me for the order due to Hot Topics denial. The order was a little over $500, I put a down payment of around $120 for this order. If you think I am going to continue to pay the remaining amount when I only received 2 items that cost $40 or less and the rest of my items never made it to me, you are crazy. As a customer, I feel an extreme amount of neglect and disgust. I will never order from Hot Topic again. Disgusting to not help your paying customers and keep there money even after proof has been put out.
