I picked up a curbside order for my wife that included a Starbucks drink, but no one told me it was a hot beverage and spilled all over my car. When I called the store the next morning, a manager said gift cards would be left up front to resolve it.
That night, when my wife went in, the manager on duty laughed at her, ridiculed her, and said they weren’t doing anything. Only after I called did the manager suddenly “find” the gift cards — still laughing, with no apology.
Mistakes happen. Laughing at customers and dismissing them is unacceptable.
