Marie Smith This is the one place that I have found that the stylist are outstanding. They listen to what you want and they achieve. I have thick course hair and my style is now update and hot. They can color your hair like no other and their prices are awesome. Whatever you need to feel better they have. The best is that you can be real with the workers and have a good time. The atmosphere is down to earth. You dont feel like someone in line waiting for this and another person does that. This is a once in a lifetime find. Try this place and you wont be disappointed.

Katrina Williams I couldnt love Carolina more. Best hairdresser Ive ever had. In addition to being talented, she is extremely sweet and fun. Would highly recommend!

Caitlin Barber Carolina and her hair/makeup team did a phenomenal job with everyone that got hair and makeup done for my wedding. They are professional, creative, friendly, and give practical advice for everyone. They do not push anything on you, but let everyone make their own decisions about what they want for the day. My hair stayed up the entire day (even with all the dancing) and my makeup covered up my flaws, yet felt so lightweight. We were all thrilled with how everyone’s hair and makeup came out. I would absolutely recommend Hair by Carolina for any wedding!

Celeste Yglesia All of the hair dressers seem amazing here although I can only speak from experience about Beck. Shes awesome, and patiently listens to what you want and need, it never feels like a rushed job. I have curly hair and have never learned so much about my hair from a hair dresser. She is the real deal and is the reason why my hair is sexy AF. Also the vibes of this place are off the charts, I feel like Im the protagonist of a 90s girl power movie every time I come in. Highly recommend.

Beck Hart Run, don’t walk, to see the wonderfully talented stylists who run Oak Hair Studio!!! I don’t even think I’d be able to properly articulate the feeling I got after Chris gave me a haircut! As a stylist, it’s difficult to find the time to be able to get my own hair cut, but Chris made it happen with our hectic schedules, and I’m so thankful. I quite literally drooled during her shampoo, and I felt so very relaxed in her chair. Wonderful conversationalist, sensational styling skills, and impeccable perception and understanding to what the clients needs are. This shag haircut is EXACTLY what I wanted.

Serena Wunderlich Avante Salon is wonderful! Alicia has given me great cuts and colors consistently for many years. I get compliments on my hair often. She is very responsive to me trying a new hairstyles and listens to my needs. She is always professional and kind and the salon is clean and comfortable. I wouldnt go anywhere else!

Hanah Fischer October 7th 2023 Bride here!! We went to mirror mirror for the wedding it was nothing short or amazing! I went into get a trial before hand she worked with me on scheduling so that it would be for my bachelorette party it came out beautiful. I had one complaint on our trial run, she reassured me she seen what I was saying and made sure to fix it before I left day of trial and it wasn’t an issue day of the wedding. ( the hairs framing my face proofed up she clipped them up which made a huge difference ) They did mine and seven other girls hair for my wedding! Definitely recommend them for any services!!

Katherine McGrane Highly recommend! Janice & Jamie provide an amazing client centered experience as soon as you walk in the door. I had color correction, balayage, conditioning/strengthening treatments, cut, & blowout done. All services were done impeccably & quickly & were reasonably priced. Janice & Jamie were both extremely knowledgeable & friendly. 10/10 customer service. I have NEVER left a salon looking & feeling so good.

Rachel Nadynia I went for the first time to get all my hair dyed brown & showed a picture too. I paid $200+ My hair turned out orange and red and was left like that, i kinda liked it but i expected it to be the color i wanted (Brown).!

Linda So I wish I could give zero , but not an option. I called on 3 separate occasions to make an appointment because of great reviews I read. Left messages for a call back. Have had no response. I am actually happy now my call was not returned because I really don’t want to go to a place that runs business that way. So happy to say I called another salon with great reviews and they returned my call right away and scheduled appointment. Guess your salon doesn’t need the business.

LARUE Fine I have lived in many places including Europe. For the last 5 years only Wayne has cut my hair. I would travel a great distance if I had to in order to go to this salon. Thankfully I live close. Wayne could easily be famous and command high dollars. However he is a down to earth great guy. My fiancé has been going to him since he opened many years ago. All the staff are great. Wayne is a consummate artist; a sculptor of hair!

Tracy I travel specifically to this store because of the customer service that I receive from Carol. She is very pleasant and very helpful. Her attention to detail is amazing. She always remembers my name and knows which products I like when I come into the store. The other day I stopped in and Carol wasn’t there, but Clarissa was. I have to say that Clarissa was excellent as well. The customer service that Carol and Clarissa give is what keeps me as a repeat customer

No Name As someone who colors my hair often, my hair is always in difference shades and colors! Pavel was very experienced as hes been in the business for over 25yrs! He had me show him pictures of what I wanted my hair to look like and informed me of the process. He color corrected my hair and did his magic. I was very happy and will see him again soon!

Robert Sykes Dominic and his Sister Gina are Friendly, Professional and overall Fantastic. I started going to Dream Weavers Style & Health Center a few years back havent been anywhere else since. Jimmy Ferraro I love this place ! Hannah does an amazing job on my hair as well as both my son’s hair. She is kind, accommodating , professional and always makes sure we are comfortable and pleased with our experience . Hannah and the crew are all very welcoming every time you step in to the salon . Hannah did such a great job I asked her to marry me…. We are happily engaged and I am very proud of the business she has built ! P.S. I love Bernice the most ;)

The Wolf Family I never write reviews, but I immediately left and HAD to. I booked online, Hannah texted me and was so accommodating, as far as getting me in sooner & went over exactly what I wanted. Nichale did my hair & what a transformation. Super relaxed environment, I am incredibly impressed & happy. I now have a permanent place to go to. Also I asked about extensions and Hannah (owner ) was extremely helpful, and answered all of my questions.

Kelly Polston The owner is super friendly, and the salon is spacious and open. The aesthetician does some of the best nails Ive seen and gives amazing facials as well. Ive never gotten them, but she does perfect eyelash extensions as well.

Laura Maneri The woman working was extremely rude in the way she told my sister and I that they only take appointments not walk ins. She seemed so bothered that we were there and didn’t know this, told us it’s a nys law that appointments are needed (which I wasn’t aware of and the place down the road happily took us- Sunny nails which I highly recommend.) I would never use split ends’ service solely based on the employees immediate harsh and rude attitude towards us the second she approached us!

Carole Redmond I have been going to Splitends for about 8 years. I drive quite a distance to get there, because they are just that good. Highly recommend!

Veronica Seet Ive been in Kingston the last 3 years but was still going back to my stylist in NYC to get my hair cut. It was high time that I looked for a local stylist and am so glad that I found Uptown Hair Studio, which is a clean, cute, and cozy place. I got a much-needed hair cut and refresh by MaryAnna. I showed her a couple of pics to MaryAnna and she gave me exactly what I wanted -- I was happy with the cut and the conversation. Will definitely be a regular!
