The prices are extremely fair, the salon is clean, breezy and in a great location. I was looking for a last-minute cut and found there were plenty of same-day appointment options. I appreciate Andreaās welcoming, warm personality and her clear efficient communication. She did a great job drastically improving my haircut, and was a pleasure to work with. Iām so glad I stumbled upon this place! Will recommend to all my friends.
Artisan Beauty Bar - Kingston Bridget Baker: I love Artisan Beauty Bar. It is so cute inside and all the stylists are very friendly. Kara is wonderful! Not only is she personable and fun, but she is a great stylist. I came to her to dye my hair for the first time ever, and I only had one inspiration picture to show her. I went from dirty blonde to red, and she was spot on and did such a wonderful job. I get so many compliments on my hair and will always go back to her now!
Mirror Mirror Hair Studio - kingston - Kingston Hanah Fischer: October 7th 2023 Bride here!! We went to mirror mirror for the wedding it was nothing short or amazing! I went into get a trial before hand she worked with me on scheduling so that it would be for my bachelorette party it came out beautiful. I had one complaint on our trial run, she reassured me she seen what I was saying and made sure to fix it before I left day of trial and it wasnāt an issue day of the wedding. ( the hairs framing my face proofed up she clipped them up which made a huge difference ) They did mine and seven other girls hair for my wedding! Definitely recommend them for any services!!
Hair with Hart - Kingston Irena Nayfeld: Beck is wonderful, both as a hair stylist and as a person. I have curly hair and itās often hard to find someone who really understands how to work with it. Beck has both the professional skills and the intuition to get what I was going for, and Iām really happy with the result. She is also wonderful and warm and I really enjoyed our conversation. Definitely recommend!
April & Co - Kingston Brianna LaBarbera: If I could leave a zero star I would . This is the worst hair cut of my life I really contemplated doing this review, but Iām at the point I want to warn others. My beautiful healthy hair looks like it was butchered by a five-year-old. My hair is nothing like what I wanted and I even described and showed photos of what I wanted so everything was clear . But as soon as you take scissors and start cutting thereās no going back. I had my hair done with some who had ā 30 years of experience ā but Also I feel thatās if you have this much experience, you should know that if youāre a heavy smoker, you should Very mindful of how your cigarette hands smell. Putting some oil with fragrance , does not fix the smell it just now made your hands smell like cigarettes and cinnamon. I literally had a hold my breath every time her hands in my face talk about disgusting . I showed her how I wanted my hair to fall with how I specifically part my hair just to make sure it looked exactly like the way I wanted. I specifically showed her the length also because I still wanted to be able to tuck it behind my ears and still have some room after that. I hate my hair and I know itās just hair but you have now ruined my hair. Now I have to figure out how to style it . most likely going to live in a terrible ponytail until my hair grows out more. Or pay to have something done by someoneās else 10/10 do not recommend!!
C & C Unisex Hair Design - kingston - Kingston ayla gale: okay i hate to do this because i feel really bad but i came in today for a trim and asked for only 1 inch off. i told the lady cutting my hair i just wanted the inch off and thats it and i really wanted to trust that it would be fine, because these are professionals, right? no. wrong. i have never had a more butchered haircut in my life. she showed me, and i said super nicely that i felt like it looked uneven in some of places and she replied āit just needs to be brushed when you get home!ā
it infact did not ājust need to be brushedā.. i got out of this chair and immediately put my hoodie back on to hide my hair, paid the full price and didnt complain, and just cried walking back to my boyfriends car. we brushed it as soon as we got into the car and he was literally jaw dropped at how bad it was. he felt so bad that he drove me to a different place 15 minutes later and payed for me to get it fixed.

Mikaela truly brings so much talent and love to what she does, I always love my hair more every time I visit! Most recently, I had my hair styled and a makeup application done for an event and felt so beautiful and confident after she took the time to really understand how I wanted to appear. As a wedding planner, Iāve also gotten to know Illisa, as well as many other stylists at Le Shag and all of them care deeply about providing the best experience to everyone they work with! Silver Sparrow Salon - Kingston Paul Rakov: Brian is great! Ive been getting my haircut by him for years, even before he opened his own shop. My son has also from about the age of four until now, 17. Hes very professional, extremely friendly and does a great job. His salon is always clean and calm. Highly recommend!
Ivy Mae Hair Studio - Kingston Amanda Kang: Had a wonderful experience at Ivy Mae! Such a beautiful hair studio and I felt so comfortable and loved the whole time! Johnna did an AMAZING blonde balayage on my hair and conditioned it back to healthā¦ my hair feels so soft and smells delicious after! LOVE what she did! ā¤ļø
Yolis Hair studio - Kingston Latina Khalil: I recently moved upstate from the city where there are Dominican Hair Salons everywhere. I was nervous I wouldnt find a place that had experienceĀ with my curls. I am so happy someone recommendedĀ Yolanda. She is so caring and kind and definitelyĀ knows what she is doing. In fact, I think this is the best wash and set I have ever received. She did the best wash ever and handled my curls with care. She even gave me suggestions for hair products I can use for my curls. It has been about a week and my hair still looks great! So happy I found a place!:)
