Ritu Jain Dr. Frank is the best dentist in this area. I had been suffering for a year and Aspen dental was forcing me to get wisdom tooth extracted instead of fixing the problem. Dr. Frank identified the correct problem which was in a different tooth, cleaned up the decay and added a crown. I am once again able to eat whatever I want. Contrary to previous reviews he is not expensive at all. Good care isnt free. The office staff, hygienist are all very pleasant, efficient and nice. Definitely recommend this place

Ive put off going to a dentist for several plus years due to dentist fear (I had quite some bad experiences from fillings falling out multiple times and bad extractions) This year, I am getting married, and I did not want some of my teeth insecurities to get in the way. I decided it was time to finally see a dentist! I work at St. Peters Hospital, so it only made sense. I try Barats practice as its right next door. The front desk staff are always very friendly and kind to me. Theyve booked me all my appointments super quickly. I initially went because I was having some pain, they contacted me back same day & I had an appointment in just a few days! I got some x-rays done, and it was found I did have quite a few cavities. So I met with Dr.Stone and we formed a plan! All the ladies + Dr.stone are so incredibly nice. Dr. Stone is so friendly and talkative, talks me through everything, and just gives off such kind, caring, gentle energy. She always makes sure Im doing okay, that I know what is going on, and that I am as comfortable as possible! She also gets so excited about her work that it is so nice to see! Shes as excited as you are to have a great smile! Thank you Dr.Stone & and team, for getting me in quickly, helping me on my teeth journey & being so kind along the way!!!

Roy Had no issues for my first appointment- did xrays as usual and was able to fix my chipped tooth too which was great! Receptionist is really nice and so is the doc! Its just hard to get any early appointments because of the demand but other than that, I recommend!

Nafisa Hadjbekkouche Please please please read all of this. This is the worst dentist Ive ever been to. They are impossible to get a hold of and whenever I do the appointment isnt until months later when I need it ASAP. I unfortunately have not the greatest teeth even though I take care of them and going to this dentist has causes me such frustration that I dont even have the energy to take care of my teeth anymore and just want to let them all rot. Ive never had this happen with any other dentist but multiple filling having either become loose or have fallen out multiple times. I am so scared that the fillings of all the teeth he has done will become loose or fall out. I also now have a broken tooth and with that and everything else its making it painful to eat but I dont have an appointment until April. The last appointment I had was in September and the next appointment I was supposed to have was in December but I had to reschedule because I was sick, it took them a month to get back to me to reschedule. So they didnt get back to me until January then the appointment the schedule wasnt until 3 months later. Now it is March and they rescheduled my appointment to April and also put me on a cancelation list. Ive noticed my appointments are scheduled months apart while other patients are getting scheduled within the next couple of weeks. I honestly think going to this dentist has made my mouth much worse and me more miserable. There is more I want to say but I dont want to accidentally repeat myself and cant think how to word it anymore. If you read this all before deciding whether or not to go here please look at other reviews and see if you know anyone who has gone and get their opinion and if you have to go I hope you have a better experience than me

John Repsher I cant say enough about the wonderful experience I had at Dr. Boncordos office. I had a slight emergency with a front tooth veneer falling off. Bridget answered the phone with a cheerful voice and understood my problem right away. I was scheduled in quickly. When I arrived to the office it was very clean and well laid out for the patients comfort. Dr. Boncordo was superb. He took as much time as necessary to make sure my veneer was placed correctly and made adjustments so that my bite is better than ever. He explained everything he was doing and let me see with a mirror as he did the work. I trust him explicitly to do a great job and on top of that he is fun to be around. He is passionate about his work and as a physical therapist I appreciate that.

Lyon McCandless Dr McMahon left the practice. He was my family’s dentist for over 30 years and we trusted him. No one informed me that he’d left so I showed up to my appointment that was being handled by a new dentist who I did not know and was not comfortable with. My parents also were patients of Dr McMahon. They saw the new dentist one time each and paid in cash at the counter in full. Then, after the fact, received two bills in the mail. My mother called to contest them. The office said that one bill was due to pricing increases and the other was an accidental double bill. My mother refused to pay for a retroactive price increases and they were voided. But just goes to show you that they’re probably over billing everybody and there’s probably a fair number of people who aren’t doing due diligence and will just overpay. Be careful and check your bills. I’ve found a new dentist.

E S If I could give a zero I would. McMahon isn’t there anymore even though his name is attached. He left without a word to his patients. This new practice is sending bills and charging for things over 20 years ago - and they are completely disorganized and losing patience along the way. I had a cleaning scheduled in March and they cancelled and said I couldn’t be seen until October and that I should just wait and be patient. I highly suggest people find a new dentist - one who cares about you and doesn’t have excuses for everything. I was ok with a new dentist - but not ok with the unprofessional receptionist, billing department and office manager who are only doing the dirty work of the dentist who is way out of his league. Run …don’t walk. And don’t settle.

Chipper ChelseaKay They have the kindest secretaries ever, the dental assistants are sweet and attentive, and Dr. Kosoff is extremely knowledgeable about what he does. When I had my first cleaning after like 6 years (whoops) I had a cavity that needed filling. They had a cancellation and did the filling same day. They have called me when someone cancelled and they remembered me briefly mentioning my ideal time. Doctor Kosoff has made a lot of decisions that truly put me the patient before anything else. I like that he doesn’t use metal crowns on his patients, he only uses the porcelain. In other offices usually the “good” insurance covers the porcelain and the rest get metal or pay out of pocket. He’s quick so if you want to ask questions you need to do it right away when you have him. Walking into the clinic is lackluster but everyone there has been fantastic with me so far. I feel like I’m in good hands there

Erick I had an appointment scheduled for April 25 at 1:15 PM to replace a crown, as I am experiencing significant discomfort and sensitivity. I was unexpectedly informed of a cancellation at 9 AM via text. When I contacted the office to understand the situation, the staff was unhelpful and dismissive, informing me that the next available appointment wouldn’t be until mid-June. I am extremely disappointed with the lack of consideration and professionalism displayed by this practice. It’s clear they do not prioritize patient care, prompting me to seek dental services elsewhere, with a provider who is reliable and empathetic.

David Kreis We have been patients of this practice for several years and loved them. However, we just received an email stating they no longer accept 27 different insurance plans (including ours.) YES THAT IS CORRECT...27 insurance companies they no longer wish to deal with. They did indicate in their letter that if you dont have insurance they would offer a 10% discount to veterans and seniors. Ironic because my insurance is through the military (that they no longer accept.) We are finding this with more and more providers. However, the patients are caught in the middle. Paying for expensive insurance that suddenly no one accepts. It would seem to be a poor business model. One or two problematic insurance carriers- fine. But 27 seems excessive. I wish them the very best of luck but am quite confident their appointment book will now include quite a few openings as patients find other providers willing to accept insurance.

Ryan Gulliksen I was a patient here for 15 years. New billing practices have them dropping over 27 different insurers. Mine is still covered and yet my cleanings have a cost associated now. I was told initially this was a temporary cost due to a different kind of cleaning, the story changed a couple months ago and now “its a lifetime cost adjustment.” I had to get a new dentist unfortunately, this space was starting to make me feel like it was more money than patient focused. This is unfortunate, I really liked going here otherwise.

Allen Calhoun I recently had a dental procedure performed by Dr. Janik and his dental team, and I cannot say enough positive things about my experience. From the moment I walked into the office, I was greeted with warm smiles and friendly conversation that immediately put me at ease. Dr. Janik and his team were extremely knowledgeable and skilled, and they took the time to explain the procedure to me. I felt completely comfortable and confident in their abilities throughout the entire process. In addition to their expertise, Dr. Janik and his team were also incredibly gentle and compassionate. I truly felt like I was in good hands throughout the entire procedure. The office itself is top-notch, with all the latest dental technology and a clean and modern atmosphere. Overall, I cannot recommend Dr. Janik and his dental team highly enough. Their knowledge, skill, and care for their patients is truly wonderful. Claudia Ive been seeing Dr. Arvin for quite a number of years now. He and his staff are wonderful. Dr. Arvin does great work and is personable and compassionate. My dental history has been complicated, so Im so grateful for all that Dr. Arvin and his team have done for me. He helped bring me back to some level of normalcy. FYA: Someone left a horrible review about 4 weeks ago that could probably be considered defamation. I reported it. Even if it was somewhat true, they should have gone directly to the ER. I wouldnt be surprised if Dr. Arvins team advised the same.

Aaron Poole-Herron Ive been to Dr Elkordys office twice now for check ups and both times have been a very good experience. I was seen much sooner than I expected when I initially called as a new patient. My appointment was rescheduled once but only for a week or so later. The practice accepted both my partners and my insurance (Delta Dental under CDPHP Essential Plan and Medicaid) All of the staff are nice, patient and capable. Dr.Elkordy is equally as friendly and has made both of us feel welcome at her practice. She is efficient and has made sure we both received the treatments we needed in an adequate timeframe without pain or discomfort. I cannot speak for their emergency services but the care we have received for check ups and minor treatment has been very good. As someone with a lot of dental anxiety, I am so grateful we found this practice :)

Tenzin Daden This practice deserves 0 stars. I had a negative experience the first time, but being in healthcare myself I did not want to judge someone in one visit. My initial appointment was at 3PM, but I was not seen by the Dentist until about 5PM. Delays happen all the time and I did not complain about it at all, but what bothered me is that the Dentist did not even introduce herself to me and then proceeded to clean my teeth while talking about a different patient with the dental assistant over my head. This was simply unprofessional and a huge red flag. I shouldnt even have bothered to come back for the follow up appointment but I am new in town and this place was the only one with earliest availability (another red flag). I also wanted to give this place a second chance, so fast forward to my follow up appointment. I left work early to make it to my appointment but as soon as I walk in to the clinic and the front desk staff tells me that the Dentist is out of the country. Again, I know stuff happens, but a call would have been nice. The front desk staff states that a call "SHOULD" have been made to me last week. I confirm my phone number they have on file for me, which is correct, and I double check the office phone number I have saved on my phone, which is also correct. I have no missed calls from the office and no voicemails. Yes, a lot of things SHOULD have been done but did not happen. This place has no regard for you and your time. TL;DR: Do not go here and waste your time/money. They are highly unprofessional.

Dr. Gaetano Gialanella is a superb and caring professional, and has navigated me skillfully through several dental crises. My husband became a patient recently and is equally impressed. The staff are dedicated, kind and well trained. Also, the practice is well connected with other dental specialists, so that you get in quickly with the best.
