Violet Prutsman I’ve seen Victoria for years and she does an amazing job every single time! She does a gorgeous job with color, every cut is beautiful. She has a great energy and is so easy to talk to, she immediately makes you feel comfortable. The overall atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Cannot recommend enough!!

Andrea Varecka Heather has been cutting and coloring my hair for about 15 years now. I have followed her to several salons because she always does a fabulous job and is always honest with me about what will and wont work for my hair. Shes the only one I trust with my hair! Plus shes fun to talk to, as we have gotten to know each other over the years! Wild Soul is a beautiful salon, always very clean and inviting. Love the fun boho chic decor. I highly recommend!

Cassandra W I cannot recommend this salon enough! I was in search of a new salon that had hair dye options that were hypoallergenic and found Victoria. I had never dyed my hair before, and she walked me through what the process would be, answered all of my questions, and gave me EXACTLY what I asked for. The atmosphere is so incredibly comfortable, and you leave feeling like a million bucks. I am so grateful and look forward to going back. Whether you are dyeing your hair for the first time, or are looking for a different stylist for a cut, look no further. 10/10 recommend!

Megan Mosca Lauren did an amazing job on the makeup for my friends wedding! She was professional, friendly, and made everyone feel so comfortable. The makeup was flawless and lasted the entire night, even with a bit of rain. She really understood what each of us wanted and brought out the best in everyone. I highly recommend her!

Sofia Curto Lauren was the absolute best to communicate with and plan how many people we needed and giving us a timeline. We needed hair and makeup for me, 7 bridesmaids, and my mother. They absolutely crushed it. Amy was awesome for both my trial and wedding day look. Osman and Shamim also crushed it. The three of them were the kindest team and it felt like getting ready went so much smoother and was even more fun. I am so grateful! Highly recommend!

Melanie Howe Emily Cooper is the best! The salon is gorgeous and the staff professional and friendly. Emily really listened to what I wanted and helped me transition to gray after using box dye for 30 years. Highly Recommend!

Jessica Sofen I just moved to the area from out of state and got connected to Mikayla on Facebook. I’m so glad I did, as I’m in four weddings this fall and desperately needed a blonding session. Mikayla was able to get me in on short notice and did a phenomenal job. Reasonable price as well. Shop is warm and cozy. Will definitely be back!!

I am over the moon in love w my lashes and brows. I look forward to my sessions with her because she puts my safety and comfort as a top priority. I love the decor of the salon and it’s very pristine. I highly recommend her skills to my friends and family.

Hannah Nothing but the best from Reisa here! At my first visit last year, she asked what I wanted out of my lashes & she has delivered every single time. I had a fear of getting lashes for the longest time as I never wanted them to look too fake or be uncomfortable, so I wanted a more natural look. I leave happy every single time! Great conversations, the lashes last me almost a month, I don’t even feel them on, & they look perfect after each visit. I look forward to my visit with her every single time. Highly recommend! :)

Mikaela Burghart Reisa is extremely talented at everything she does! I’ve been going to her for over 3 years and I always look forward to my appointments. I’m always so pleased with how my lashes look every time I leave. Not only is she amazing at lashes she is also so kind and down to earth and always makes sure you leave satisfied!

Dajana Trapanese My hair stylist was Kenzie. First time booking with her and she did an awesome job. I did global glaze and hair cut and she did wonderful job. Salon itself is very cute and clean.

Jadalynn Lebarron I got a permanent bracelet that came out amazing. The staff was very sweet and prices were reasonable, I would definitely recommend!

Caitlin Barrow I got a permanent anklet done elsewhere but it had broken off. I was having trouble finding a place locally that could do a repair (especially on an anklet since most places dont do them). They were happy to get me in very soon here at the Ivy and I was so impressed with their service. I didnt know this place existed but its a super cute environment inside and they offer so many different beauty services. The girl that helped me with my permanent jewelry repair was so friendly and helpful and took the time to make sure I loved the fit before making it permanent. I really enjoyed my experience here and would definitely come back for another beauty service they offer!

Dlonra Chelle I have been here on a number of occasions and am unsatisfied. I tend to prefer walk in appts and the majority of times I kept getting the same stylist because of this. This stylist usually sits at the front desk. When I have gone in for a simple bang trim the bangs were uneven. Recently I stupidly went back and another stylist did my hair. Initially I was happy and thought perhaps I could get a good haircut this time. Wrong!! She did not do what I asked which was pretty simple, and she burned my eye lid when she waxed my brows. I was actually embarrassed going out in public after the cut because it was so bad and had to rush home and attempt to fix it. I basically wasted my money on the cut and had to wait for it to grow out a little to go elsewhere to get it fixed. This was the last straw, I will not be back and I do not recommend going there.

James I actually liked my haircut I got and my wifes. But I found it odd my neck was like breaking out in a rash and nobody mentioned to me. I dont know if they hadnt seen it or what since my wife went after me and then we left when I finally realized. My neck just felt really sensible and sore afterwards and I didnt wanna make a scene and complain. Idk if its something they put on my neck or when she was oiling the razor if that got on my neck somehow and caused this. Anyways, Ive never had this happen before during a haircut so thought Id mention since I was kind of alarmed.

Vero Kova I just walked in. And was very lucky; new lady, Sally started her first shift working with me. Shes not new to haircut business and has many years experience. I decided to change my hairstyle and was very pleased with result. Thank you, Sally.

Lisa Pelech Ive been going to Keri Mayo since before she joined the fun team at shear cut. When she left the old salon I was happy to follow. She knows my hair she knows what I like and she is honest! Not to mention she gives kick #ss shampoos! Super relaxing when Im in her chair!

Amanda Blair I went and had my haircut some where else. They butchered my hair. I went to Shear Cut crying hoping to have it fixed. Erica did an amazing job fixing it! And the staff was so nice and welcoming. The photos below are me before and after. Thank god for them!!! I will forever be grateful and will go to them for any haircut! The best service ever. No waiting time. Always ready at time of appointment. Everyone is nice and polite. Feel extremely comfortable in there.

Leah Breeyear Tara is my stylist! I have been up and down the Northway searching for the perfect blow out. My hair is curly, oily, and frizzy, but I swear I left the salon feeling sleek and sexy, aka, a million bucks. I have been viewing Taras beautiful transformations all over my timeline and on Instagram for years. I finally had the chance to experience her magical touch in September of 2020. When I sat in the chair, she asked "so what are we doing today?!" I literally told her I want to look like a babe, and BAM, she delivered. Not only was I happy with the result, she was transparent on her pricing before I arrived and made me laugh the entire time. Thanks Tara!!

Pat Gross Tara @ Svana Salon on East Ave across the street from touring Street trail is marvelous. She has been doing my hair for about 9 years now and Im not going anywhere else. Shop is clean and spacious. Try it, youll like it!

Sylvia Garcia I have been their patron for years and have never been disappointed. The owners are professional and friendly, and the spa is always clean. I am the patron that will come up with wild color combinations, and they always are able to pull it off for me. Ive also taken a simple color and Jeuje it up. They are always willing to let my free spirit soar. The customers are friendly, and I have had interesting conversations. Coming to the spa is my one indulgence that I give myself. I love the ANC Nails because they last long, and they always look like you just came from the nail salon. I highly recommend Glamour Nails & Spa of North Ballston Spa. You will not be disappointed.

Kerry Fitch Everyone is so sweet and kind. My nails look beautiful and they were helpful in choosing a color/nail art design. Would not hesitate to come back! :)

LeighAnn Loftus This was maybe the best manicure experience I’ve ever had. Angie is a true artist and put so much time and care into my nails. Peter did an amazing job on my toes, and they are both lovely people who are really easy to talk to. On top of all this, the space was bright and clean and the prices were amazing!

Frank Berlin You get a great haircut and no time flat!! And theyre great animal lovers especially horses and squirrels. So much to learn from them they know about everything. They always have a friendly greeting for their customers.

Brittney Engelmann The moment Brittany sat me down she cared not only about what I wanted, but educated me on my hair type, how the color would pull, maintenance for the future, etc. I hadn’t had my hair colored in over ten years and she made me feel so comfortable. I knew she was really listening to what my hair vision was/what my concerns were. I showed her a few inspiration photos and, to be honest, my hair far exceeded those photos. I love it so much I cried when Brittany was done. I highly recommend reaching out to her for all of your hair needs. She is fantastic. 10/10 will always recommend.

Megan Christy The salon is nice and so are the people; however, theyre the type of place that does whatever they want to your hair. I walked out with my hair looking absolutely nothing like the picture that I had showed. My hair is WAY too short and she didnt cut any layers, its just blah. Plus I have curly hair, so I have to straighten it (which is terrible for my hair and I cant blow it out the way she did, Im not a hair stylist) otherwise its about an inch shorter and it looks so weird. Not to mention that its extremely overpriced; $60 for a 10 minute hair cut?! Ridiculous. Not returning.

Hilary Oreschnick I have fine thin hair and always wanted long thick hair. I went to see a few people about hair extensions and eventually found Kerri at The Strand. The reason I chose to have she knows so much about what she does and genuinely cares she is doing what is best for your hair. Instead of talking me into lots of extensions, she suggested because my hair is so fine I try two bags to begin with and see how my hair is with extensions. I was much happier with that. Kerri put in Great Lengths Hair Extensions for me yesterday and also gave me a new cut that made my hair look thicker and showed me how to style it. I love my thicker hair and it is a wonderful color. Ill keep going back now.

DANNIELLA CAPADONA I absolutely love my hair! Just moved up state from Jersey & this will definitely be my new salon moving forward! Jaycie is such a sweetheart who cares deeply about her customers. & Catherine gave me an incredible haircut. 10/10!!

Amber Rainbow Quaint and cozy salon. Despite its size it has a very lovely atmosphere. Overall it was pretty quiet and relaxing experience. The hairdressers all seemed very friendly, but my appointment was with Mary. She did an amazing job and was able to achieve exactly what I had asked for. I will absolutely be returning and recommend everyone their way. 10/10

Danielle Lanigan Nicole did a fabulous job on my highlights and cut, as always! Lexi and the owner, Kayla are so welcoming. The salon is so clean and nice! Lexi did “fairy hair” on my 9 year old daughter today, and she loves it!

K McClarren I see Kasey for facials pretty regularly.. she is AMAZING and I cannot recommend her enough! I trust her completely and always get whatever treatment she recommends. We are working on lightening some acne scarring and smoothing my skin, and she has made the biggest/best difference! Oh and as a bonus, she gives the BEST facial massages!!!!

Stephanie Lall Complexions Spa is amazing! This place is just so Serene and tranquil. I went here for the first time this year for a massage and a Japanese forest bath. I must say th lockers are super clean and theres a lot of amenities provided. You get your own robe and towel wrap and slippers. The staff are very nice and they do know their job. My massage was so relaxing in the beautiful candle lit room and soft spa music. Theres free tea, snacks and water. My steam bath was so amazing and Ive never experienced anything like it before. I will definitely go back here

K I This is my first time and WOW! Diane and Angel have exceeded way beyond my expectations. Diane finished my manicure. She referred me to Angel last minute for a hydro facial so she did a last minute add on and split my appointment. Angel was very professional and sweet. She explained the whole procedure and brought my skin back to life! Im very impressed that with any service from complexions Spa for beauty you are welcome to use their sauna, steam room or relaxation room that overlooks congress park. Another thing that sparked my attention was the wide variety of amenities and services they offer. I’m overall very impressed! As soon as Angel was done with my facial I was brought back to Diane and she did my pedicure which both manicure and pedicure turned out beautiful! I walked out of Complexions Spa feeling gorgeous!

Denise Rickard Jessica L. Is incredibly talented, dedicated, accommodating and passionate about what she does. She has been my hairdresser for over 15 years. I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a top-notch professional hairstylist. There is no one better than Jess!

Not me Santiago is a seasoned, talented stylist and he gave me a really well-considered haircut. My hair has a quirky texture. He worked with it, not against it. I felt very comfortable going there and that means a lot I think, from somebody who has pretty bad social anxiety. Five stars for the whole experience. And thank you very much dude, very happy with my hair.

maranda boehm Not worth the hype! Went in for purple, left with blonde highlights on my already brown hair (was talked out of my original request). Got a cut, as well. I had lines, extremely noticeable dye lines (abrupt stops before roots) I got home, even the cut was uneven, half an inch! & a hair map was used! I was told to come back to have it fixed Its still not what I thought i would get for almost 200$ I contacted who i think is the owner, she refunded me the 20 tip I had given the 1st time, after explaining that this was causing anxiety & i really didnt want to go back! A 3rd time! What an insult. Now Ill have to pay someone else to actually fix it I wonder if she knows the definition of insanity This place is all looks. The follow through is not there. This is your warning!!!

Francine Kaye Anna has an uncommonly intuitive as well as healing touch with her massages. Her 90-minute deep-tissue massages with cupping are other-worldly...I feel as Ive emerged from an 8-hour cocoon of sleep when its over. Highly recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Jill Fish Annas place was so very tranquil and her massage was extraordinary!! I would highly recommend Swedish Hill Farms and cant wait to return.

Ruth B My massage with Anna was fantastic. She has an amazing place on a stunning equine farm with a tranquil and inviting treatment room. Anna felt familiar the minute I met her and it was obvious that she is passionate about the mind/body connection and massage. My massage was so relaxing and restorative. I will definitely be back!
