Vero Kova: I just walked in. And was very lucky; new lady, Sally started her first shift working with me. Shes not new to haircut business and has many years experience. I decided to change my hairstyle and was very pleased with result. Thank you, Sally.
Dlonra Chelle: I have been here on a number of occasions and am unsatisfied. I tend to prefer walk in appts and the majority of times I kept getting the same stylist because of this. This stylist usually sits at the front desk. When I have gone in for a simple bang trim the bangs were uneven. Recently I stupidly went back and another stylist did my hair. Initially I was happy and thought perhaps I could get a good haircut this time. Wrong!! She did not do what I asked which was pretty simple, and she burned my eye lid when she waxed my brows. I was actually embarrassed going out in public after the cut because it was so bad and had to rush home and attempt to fix it. I basically wasted my money on the cut and had to wait for it to grow out a little to go elsewhere to get it fixed. This was the last straw, I will not be back and I do not recommend going there.
James Hall: My wife goes here . ladies are very nice hear . They work is awesome! They know exalcty what they are doing. Very clean and everyone their very welcoming!
Nancy Koziol: WOW. Ive recently started my curly-hair journey after a lifetime (nearly 50 years) of using heated styling tools. While Ive been having fairly good luck with it, every time I got a cut it felt like my hair took a few steps back.
I greatly appreciate people who truly know what theyre doing and have a niche. Thats what you can expect at Moisture Salon.
After arriving and being greeted, Brooke Irina took me on a JOURNEY. Not only was she very good at explaining things to me and showing me all the steps on the way, but she was also really fun. Im someone who likes to CHAT during a salon visit and she is friendly, interesting and really funny. We had a great time.
Since my first appointment my hair has looked better with more even curls and the products she recommended have definitely made it healthier.
Im looking forward to going back in 6 months for a check in and trim and to get feedback on how Im holding up doing this on my own. Absolutely worth the trip to Schenectady!
Amanda Bigg: As a first time client, my experience was not good. I set up an appointment with lady and Her coworker ended up doing my hair. He really didnt seem to confident in doing a 1 row braid less sew-in. After a week The hair and the beads ended up coming out. I contacted her through Instagram, which her communication skills are absolutely terrible. She takes hours to days to respond. She told me she would personally fix my hair at no charge. Once again we went back-and-forth through Instagram to figure out a day for me to come in which took days and days and days for her to respond she told me she would work around my schedule and to give her my Availability and when I told her a day and time she told me she couldn’t do that day because she was moving. I just gave up and took a loss of $180. I would not recommend this salon and I will not be going back.
Jennifer S: Everything about this space and the people who work here was incredible! Even though youre in downtown Schenectady, youd never know it. The private entrance made the space feel extra safe! Once you go back in to the lounge its a mermaids dream! Every person was kind, funny, empathetic. There were no sour faces or judgement here!
Eastwood Yeboah: I came to the area needing my locs done and I came out looking better than when i left! Love is so sweet and treats every client like theyre her own kids. Truly a great experience and I would recommend anyone who needs their hair done in any style to come here.
