mary bokuniewicz I have been a customer of Trina’s New Image nail salon for the past three years. I have received both the traditional and the spa pedicures. Both pedicures are soothing but I suggest treating yourself to a spa experience. The foot massage is so relaxing and pure joy. I highly recommend this treatment. Trini is so lovely. She always greets you with a big smile and hello. You’ll be very comfortable in her company. Love this salon!!

I’ve gotten more compliments on this set more than any other nails I’ve ever had! My nails feel strong, none of the jewels have fallen off and I’ve had no polish chip. 10/10 I will return!

Ebonie S Today is the official grand opening of the Venus Nail Lounge. I just stopped by on a whim. I very rarely get my nails done, but I had a minor chip I wanted to repair and protect. I didnt have a preference, so the the technician recommended the best option and even helped pick out a beautiful Spring color! I have healthy natural nails. Danny was very gentle and didnt over trim or over file my natural nails. We opted for dip powder in a beautiful pink. I dont get my nails done very often, but I will be referring and gifting visits! Laura Henry Ive been a customer of Erins for several years now. I am always impressed at her professionalism, artistry, and genuine caring for her clients. I get hair services (cut and color) and waxing services. I came to Erin specifically looking for bold hair colors, and she is a wizard at this specific skill. She uses the Goldwell Elumen product line, which is extremely high-quality. I am continually satisfied with my experience with Erin. Stephanie, the current owner, always has a smile and a happy greeting for me when Im in the salon as well. I truly enjoy the time I spend here (and due to my hair coloring process, I do spend a lot of time there!!).

Rachel Ive been looking for a new salon since the place I usually go is always booked. I drive by this salon all of the time and Im glad I gave it a try. I dont know the name of the woman who did my mani and pedi, but she was very sweet and did a great job, the attention to detail was something Ive never experienced at any other salon. The salon is very clean as well.

Danielle Bishop I have been going to Zakia for over a year, and she is by far my favorite waxer in Syracuse. From the minute you walk through the door, during the appointment, and after checkout, she makes you feel extremely comfortable and safe. The atmosphere of her shop is very peaceful, calming, and empowering. Zakia is very knowledgeable about her practice and gets all those hard to reach spots that other waxers sometimes miss! 10/10 recommend.

My nails are so weak in general so she offered to do a second base coat. Loved the extra care! They both took their time with us and in general that was the vibe.

Vikki Melonz My daughter and I were looking for a new nail salon and this was one had a lot of good reviews, so we decided to try it out. It was very clean. I love the design they did on my daughter both times. My only problem was they kept calling to change my appointment time. I made it for 12pm then they called to change 4pm then they call again to change it but I was already on my way so I had to wait even though I had made an appointment.

Samantha B They really do live up to the name. The online booking service allows you to enter in everything you’re looking to get done so it can more accurately reserve the right amount of time. I asked for something pretty different and they accommodated me so well. Q was amazing with her attention to detail, she was sweet, and talked through how she was going to do the design. I don’t get my nails done often but I think this is going to be my go-to from now on.

I always leave satisfied & everyone really puts detail into what I’ve asked for, whether it’s something simple or a design. Each nail tech I’ve had has been great as well! I also got a pedicure, I felt so relaxed after. My toes look great and they include massage and did not rush….next time I am in town and need my nails done I will be coming here.

Janelle Rozzano I never write complaints. I mean it when I say that. I’m just really upset about my recent visit. You know, when you go to get your nails done you’re excited. And if you know the color you want, you want time to look for it. I don’t know about you, but my “nail salon pet peeve” is when I am rushed to pick a color. I had my appointment and came a little early, so I could do just that. Mind you, first appointment of the day, not busy at all. Looking for one minute, and they tell me to take a seat at a specific booth; several times. I told them I would like to pick my color first and that I haven’t looked at all of the books, and I wasnt rude. They told me they are all the same (they aren’t, and they aren’t all labeled). Maybe if they were organized better so people would know that IDK. So, I walk over holding all of my stuff and two of those books, like cmon let me just pick it first no one is in here. Anyway, whatever, I moved on. There was a lot of chatting amongst the staff, idk they may or may not have been complaining, but all I know is that the guy did my nails in a half hour, skipped the cuticle oil, cuticle maintenance, they are crooked, and skipped the lotion. All things they usually do. Then they charged me $45. Which, I swear to G their price for a regular dip were $40, which is already higher than some. Does anyone else remember it being $40? I couldn’t look anywhere they took the prices down, but the lady told me it was always that price. Definitely wasn’t. I walked in with plain nails and had no tips, rushed to pick color, given some attitude, then a half a** job on my nails for $45. I just want people to know “suddenly” $45 for a half hour for a dip manicure that was not even done well in the half hour. I never get out of the house because I have little ones and I was excited (moms you get). It just made me sad. Just not fair or good business practice. I hope you have a better experience.

Brittany Jackson Obsessed! I was referred to Nini by a friend after my long time nail tech moved out of state.. I was nervous seeing that Ive had a lot of bad experiences at nail salons in the past. This was one of the best Ive ever had! Nini is super personable and down to earth, she made me feel so comfortable, it felt like it wasnt even my first time there.. they offer many services from nails and facials to permanent makeup. They go by appointment only so definitely plan ahead, its worth it. Overall, I love my nails and already made my next appointment! Highly recommend

I have received excellent service and always walk out with flawless beautiful nails. The website to make the nail appointment is easy to use and has all the info you will need to make the appointment. I send my nail inspo pic then book my appointment (there is a 40$ deposit but it goes towards the total). They have exceeded my expectations every time I walk out with my new set. Highly recommend !!

Ive been taken care of by Vicki, the owner, even before she opened her own business and I have to say, if you want to go to a place where they know how to give you a perfect treatment, you go to Glamour. All the ladies there are specialists very carefully selected for quality and performance. All I can say is try it and you’ll fall in love with the owner and the place like me and all her customers have. PS. I recently had my brows microbladed and I’m so pleased I don’t stop showing them around. Go there! You’ll love it!!

Francesca When I was in college at Syracuse University, I used to come here all the time. All the woman who work here are super kind. The owner (I forget her name) is fun and very talented. They do amazing acrylics and lashes. Its also a very quaint and charming atmosphere.

The spa is located in a beautiful historic neighborhood inside a gorgeous house with the spa on the first floor and the owners living space on the second. The spa itself is clean and offers a chic, modern atmosphere. Its obvious that a lot of time, care, and love has gone into this place. When I entered, I was promptly greeted and invited to take a seat to wait for my manicure appointment. While waiting, I had a lovely chat with another client who couldnt say enough positive things about the spa. She said shes a regular who comes in every 2 weeks. During my appointment, all the staff were very kind and professional. They took the time to help me better understand what services I would need to achieve my desired results. I dont know much about nail design or which types of manicures are best for certain things, so their consideration was greatly appreciated. I never felt that I was being condescended to for my lack of knowledge. We decided on a full set of acrylic nails, with the "glam" add-on, filed to an almond shape. 2 nails on each hand have glitter over the color; and the white nails have chrome powder layered over them for a slight holographic effect. The cost for this manicure was $90. I had a wonderful conversation with the owner while she worked on my nails. Shes so sweet and funny, and really made the experience so much better for me. I cant speak to the other services offered here, as Ive only had a manicure so far, but I do know that I will not be going anywhere else for nail services. Fresh has got my complete confidence and, therefore, my business!

Melquea Smith Yep. This is the place to be when you need personal, intimate service. One of my biggest hang-ups is walking into a salon and finding it packed with people. The staff would get people in and out like the next number at the deli line. Im so happy to say this place is so much different! I felt completely relaxed during my first ever massage. My masseuse had fantastic communication, she asked me questions, told me what to expect, and checked in to make sure her pressure was good throughout our session. I really appreciated that. I feel like a limp fettuccine noodle - which is a great thing, and Im making moves to have this be a quarterly thing. Im happy to be supporting a Black Owned business and Ill be making regular trips here from now on!

Jen was super friendly, as well as the other staff. She did an IMMACULATE job! The attention to detail was insane. The staff also helped me pick out the perfect red to show off my engagement ring for the holidays and didn’t make me feel like I was a burden at all, they were more than happy to help. 10/10!!

The picture I post is my nails only 1 day old an the gel polish is already chipping off , she did a horrible job on my feet she didn’t even scrap the back , I basically paid 30$ for her to cut an polish my toes which she did a horrible job at that to , my appointment was at 6 so I guess they close at 7 so they was rushing trying to get me out of there but I spent 95$ for nothing everything looks sooooo ugly ! I’m very upset.

Vanisha Glen Before arriving I called and asked if there were any availability she stated yes to come right now. When I arrived she was confused and I explained I called she had me wash my hands. I sat down and a nail tech called me over. I told her I wanted short acrylic nails and she told me to sit over to another station. Another lady came and started my nails when I showed her what I wanted she preceded to get up and leave me there then a third woman came over and had me come over to her station. I asked why I kept going back and forth between stations. No one had an answer for me. Finally a third woman did my nails. They were not very welcoming at all and gave off rude vibes. I will not recommend them at all. Very discriminating. I will give 0 stars if that was available
