1 /5 Frank Iachetta: I was forced into this bank when they purchased my 0% interest loan from another bank. Online banking service is horrible. Very difficult to get someone on the phone to be able to login to to pay my loan. They also want to charge me a fee to pay my loan online. In the past 4 years we have never been late on a payment and now we are having to jump through hoops just to make our monthly payment on time due to their cumbersome system. Looking to pay off our 0% interest loan just to break ties with this business.

1 /5 Renee Miller: I was trying to get a loan for a plane ticket to Seattle for my brothers funeral, and they gave me the run around for weeks until I missed his funeral, they knew was retired but I have a 20 hour a week job as well. They finally told me after having me run to social security a few times that l didnt have enough money to get a loan for one thousand dollars. Really after giving me a year to pay it back. That hurt my heart so much ; even after banking with you guys for 2 years . Im going to pull my account from this bank asap. They are the worst. And Im going to protest against them as well. If your own bank cant help you in your time of bereavement then who?

5 /5 D A: I live pay check to pay check and Ive gotten a car loan and a personal loan from this bank, both without issue. I havent tried calling for customer service as other people complain about but going through the app Ive gotten immediate responses. Theyve never made errors or done me wrong, and are a HUGE upgrade in every way from my experience with Tompkins trust in trumansburg. Night and day difference, and Im thankful they exist.

Kristen Martin: I have been banking with CFCU since I was a teenager. However, the rates are poor and ghost charges can be seen on the account balance when they change their requirements for certain Debit cards. I have mostly switched to SoFi banking at this point because they actually have an interest on savings accounts, unlike CFCUs .06 cents a year. However, no physical banks exist in this area so I keep business with CFCU for cash transactions. I have never wrote a review for CFCU because why bother? Its a bank. WITH THAT BEING SAID. I have been scammed small amounts of money in the past because of their "requirements" and contracts changing without notice. My family has cleaned out their accounts with CFCU because of the scams. Today was the last straw. I deposited a 5-figure amount of cash, in person, with a teller at the Lansing branch. Although nice, Samantha never counted the cash like previous tellers have. I did not realize she was going to drop it into a machine, never to be seen again. She then states the machine gets audited at the end of the day, and it should account for bills sticking. NOPE. NOT THE CASE. It took 6 hours for this bank to confirm they have scammed me out of another $100. This money was from this branch about 3-4 years ago, so all bills were authenticated, banded, and placed in a safe. They refused to accommodate or even excuse this mistake. I am in the market for a house, this was my savings for a down payment. When also arriving to this branch today, they were unable to deposit checks... RED FLAG. I shouldve walked out then, but they stated that they could still handle cash transactions... I suggest NEVER banking or doing business with CFCU, as I regret every second of it. I was interested in taking a mortgage out through CFCU as well, but not anymore. CFCU never used to be this bad...
