Rebecca Murphy-Fish Small location with only 2 tellers inside. I just wanted to give this location 5 stars because goddess bless the teller the day I was there who had to deal w/ a nasty middle aged white lady and did so professionally and kindly.

D A I live pay check to pay check and Ive gotten a car loan and a personal loan from this bank, both without issue. I havent tried calling for customer service as other people complain about but going through the app Ive gotten immediate responses. Theyve never made errors or done me wrong, and are a HUGE upgrade in every way from my experience with Tompkins trust in trumansburg. Night and day difference, and Im thankful they exist.

Amber Donofrio I typically go to the Meadow Street branch and always have a positive experience there, but this location on the Commons is really convenient, especially since neither branch is open on Saturdays anymore so it can be harder to fit in a visit in-between work. The issue is that CFCUs "transformation center" is confusing. After a few years, I still dont know what the term "transformation center" even means. Its nice if you just need to use the atm, but its unclear what other services the branch offers or doesnt offer, as its set up more loosely than a typical bank location. Its also sometimes unclear who to speak to and there can be a line as theres only one teller. Im happy we have a location downtown, but wish it was a more traditional branch. I will say the 24-hr atm access is very convenient, though.

Kerry Demarest Anytime I have a client (Im a bookkeeper) who wants to change banks but remain local, I recommend CFCU. This has been the case even before they hired Shine who handles business accounts. But its Shine who is so helpful, efficient, and knowledgeable that makes me appreciate this bank so much Im writing a review. Since I only work with small businesses, its a fairly old-school concept that I get a real, dedicated person to assist with my accounts. It used to be like that with all the banks here, but that kind of relationship with a bank has been disappearing for years. Thank you Shine for all your help with all my clients all the time! Linda Glover My experience with CFCU has been nothing but positive. For me, its very accessible both physically and digitally, they offer a wide range of services and options, are much more customer focused than traditional banks. Its a refreshing alternative to for-profit corporate banks.

Mary Sullivan The Tompkins Trust company has been my primary bank since I moved to Ithaca in 1966. Have briefly tried other banks but TCTC has the best locations and number of ATMs. They handled our mortgage , checking and home equity loans with courtesy and full disclosure.
