My now-husband and I first discovered MP through a friend’s recommendation back in 2018 when we started looking into designing my engagement ring. We visited a few other jewelers, but immediately felt the most connected to MP and knew they were the ones who would help us create my perfect ring. From the beginning, we worked with Nesrine, who was incredible. She went above and beyond to help us find the perfect stone and was incredibly patient with us as it took several months to get everything just right. We also trusted MP with our wedding bands, and they turned out just as beautiful and meaningful as my engagement ring. We truly feel so lucky to have found such an amazing jeweler. Although we’ve since moved to Colorado, we continue to work with Nesrine virtually or make annual visits to MP to select meaningful jewelry for anniversaries, birthdays, push presents, and more.     Vision Vitruvian (Anima): A lovely, impeccably organized vintage jewellery store. A real treasure trove for fashion students, stylists, and lovers of 20s to 60s (and older) rhinestone, enamel and silver jewellery. Stock mens and womens jewellery, accessories, cufflinks, buttons- and more (see videos). The staff were lovely, and even recommended me a secondhand gem in the neighborhood (Screaming Mimis), because I was pressed for time, and much of the stores I had researched prior to my trip were overhyped, and not great at all. For all Europeans and Brits: this is an American store, so do not expect this to be a European or UK style antiques shop with ware from the 1700s. Think Hollywood costume jewellery, and newer vintage, mainly 19th century, with some older pieces. Prices are anywhere from 20 Dollars or less for some buttons up to multiple hundreds, depending on the age, quality and craftsmanship of the piece. This store looks small, but if you go through all the drawers in search of your dream piece, you might want to spend a good while here. P.s.: I have always been into Art Deco (kitschy or not), and they have plenty of it.

They have an amazing selection of vintage/antique jewelry, great communication and they answered all of my newbie questions with patience and kindness. I didnt end up making a purchase this time around, but I will return soon!

    A H: Disappointed by the rude and unprofessional behavior. I walked into the store with my mom, and immediately noticed that the two women working there were deep in a conversation in Spanish, completely ignoring customers. My mom politely asked a question about jewelry, and I noticed one of the women give her a dirty look in response. Concerned, I asked my mom what happened, and she said she was just inquiring about toe rings. I then looked at the woman and asked if they sold toe rings, since I wasn’t sure how their exchange had gone. Instead of answering calmly, both women became hostile, raising their voices and ganging up on me. Assuming I was asking them “what happened”, when I was asking my mom. I couldn’t even finish a sentence they were aggressive, defensive, and extremely unprofessional. Feeling uncomfortable, I told my mom, “Let’s go, the energy here is bad,” to which one of the women responded, “Yes, go, leave! ” I left feeling confused and shocked, and now that I’m reading other reviews, it seems I’m not alone in this experience. It felt like the dirty look may have been because my mom interrupted their personal conversation, which is disappointing especially considering we were customers. This was our first visit and definitely our last. Wishing them all the best, but customer service like that……., no words just wish you the best and hoping there is change in how customers are treated.
