5 /5 Anne Warncke: I cant tell you how many times that if I hadnt had Community Action around we would have went hungry theyve been wonderful they helped when we didnt have summer clothing that we needed they gave us a lot of food and a lot of bread and they were very kind and considerate they even help me pay my rent it was amazing what a Christmas that was it was just a wonderful Christmas present to me because I was all on my own thank you again Community Action you get five stars from me and Diane was there at the time and I want to say thank you Diane and her staff start helping me out so much God bless

5 /5 Marjory Unger: I’m a disabled older person, on SSD and don’t make enough money to live, but the government tells me I make too much to get assistance. I go there, sometimes for food, sometimes just for help! It’s been a struggle!! These people care and listen to you. They try to help fix the cracks in “THE SYSTEM “. They can sometimes show you the way out of trouble. Sometimes it may be financially, sometimes talking out what to do…they are a definite need, especially now with all the stress and new people who don’t speak English, who are draining the resources!

1 /5 Journi’s World: On November 10th I joined the domestic violence program of community action. My overall experience with this establishment was horrific The first say that I got there I was given in intake at 9pm asking me a series of uncomfortable questions signing multiple paper work that was explained to me half way and rushed through. The director of the company was compassionate about wanting to help me at first so begin I become a bit comfortable. Then I started to notice a lot of the staff were not following the rules and adhering to the duties of a domestic violence shelter considering this is not my first experience in dv care I had a certain expectation for the services that should have been offered. For example The shelter had no counseling and no social worker. The services that are listed on the website only half of those devices were offered. One of the workers at this establishment and Linda was very antagonistic and intimidating. She would constantly say things to my daughter without my consent instead of addressing me. The most recent incident was November 20th and the worker and Linda contacted the police and lied saying that I was being intimidating and that I was yelling at her and I was not I was asking for a supervisor number and she refused to help me all of this because I parked at the wrong spot. I am also not the only resident with these concerns I spoke out to another agent for help and once I did that the workers at community action started acting rude and inappropriate towards myself and my daughter. They were not greeting us in the morning and everyday making us uncomfortable like a form of retaliation was in place. Linda call the police on me and lied and then closed the door and they rehearsed what to say to the Police I recorded and watched the whole thing and I told them they were being recorded for my safety I was more then afraid so I was a little anxious and talking in a high tone however I was not a threat. I was crying and begging for someone to call Jeanie the director who actually never called me back after the police escorted me and my daughter off the property. And then they followed me down the road like I was a criminal The whole experience was horrible and I am going to contact all the proper channels to bring light to the behaviors of this establishment
