1 /5 Chelsea Foster: Normally, I would not badmouth a small business, but I am incredibly upset. I brought a sterling silver ring in to be repaired in the middle of January. When I dropped the ring off, the girl who received it told me that they would give me a call when the ring was finished. I waited several weeks, assuming that the repair was taking longer than normal. I called today to inquire if the ring was ready, and I got attitude from the man who answered the phone. He said “we don’t call you when it’s done.”
If that was the only problem, I would not be leaving this review.
I was shown my ring, the repair looks good, and it’s nicely shined. HOWEVER- The setting holds a beautiful piece of green amber, and I’ve had this ring for years. The Amber was completely dulled. I was hoping that there was just some leftover polish or something on it, but I don’t think that is the case. When the woman who was helping me with my pick up, brought the ring back to the repair man, and made mention of what I said about the Amber, I heard him scoff and give her attitude saying “well, this is resin because it’s Amber. It’s not a stone.” He barely tried to clean it, and it was returned to me.
I wish I had a taken a picture of it when I dropped it off.
I paid for what they had done, and left. I am so incredibly upset that this ring has been damaged. I will not be returning.
