  • Evolve Buffalo - Buffalo
Jill Ahrens: Our firm worked with Melissa and Evolve Buffalo to put together a fitness event over the summer. Melissa exceeded expectations when it came to professionalism, positive energy, and providing us with a great class experience. I would highly recommend her gym, her classes, and hosting abilities!
    LA Fitness - Buffalo
    LA Fitness
Russell Garnett: Disappointed with Management I’ve been a member at LA Fitness for a while, and I’ve generally enjoyed the facility and equipment. However, my recent experience with Rukshana was very disappointing. The manager I interacted with was extremely rude and unprofessional, which left a bad impression. I expected better customer service from a company like LA Fitness. Hopefully, corporate can address how members are being treated at this location.
    Terries Workout Center - Buffalo
Stacey Czerwinski: I have been a happy Terries member since 2018 and cant imagine going to another gym! From the moment you step inside off Hertel Avenue in the heart of North Buffalo, you instantly feel the genuine warmth of a community-focused gym that truly cares about its members - no Big Corporate vibes here! The facility offers an impressive range of well-maintained equipment spanning machine and free weights, cardio machines including treadmills and ellipticals, Life Cycle and spinning bikes, plus group exercise classes like boxing, barre, spin, Pilates and more. Every room is immaculately clean, as is every piece of equipment. Beyond all of this, what stands out most is the family-run atmosphere. The owners and staff are friendly, approachable, and make an effort to know members by name -whether you’re there for personal training, group classes, or open gym time. This creates a supportive, positive environment that motivates everyone to improve their health and well-being. Simply put, Terrie’s is a gem - a warm, inclusive place where fitness and community go hand in hand. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a friendly and effective workout experience.
    Every Body Plus - Buffalo
Courtney Matrix: I never liked going to the gym and couldn’t push myself and that’s why I decided to start taking classes. This is when I found EveryBODY+ and my life has seriously changed for the better. This studio offers so so many classes that anyone can find something that makes them happy. I have NEVER had a bad class or a bad instructor here. It is affordable and truly the most positive and supportive environment for anybody or anyone. The owner, Cristy, makes everyone feel so welcomed and loved. The studio is two floors and offers pole classes, barre, pilates, spin, step and so much more. I have been coming here for two months and have seen not only a difference in my physique but also my mind body connection, and mental health. I truly cannot recommend this studio enough. Inclusive, effective and truly a one of a kind experience.
NexGen Fitness, Recovery & Salt Room - Buffalo - Buffalo
Rashpal Sandhu: Hey I was a customer at the Williamsville location before it shut down and I have a bunch of classes remaining. The manager there gave the option to transfer to downtown or receive a refund. I chose a refund because the commute to downtown was too long. I have not received a refund to date. I have spoken to multiple people at the Downtown location in Buffalo who said they would escalate it to the Gronkowski owners. I have not heard back from anyone or received any money. It’s been close to a year now and I have called probably 50-100 times. The training was great but this customer service after the location closed is terrible. I am not sure why they treat people like this. At this point I’m not sure what to do. A company cannot promise a refund and then disappear on their clients.
    Hype Fitness Studio - Buffalo
Shipra Goel: Hype is an excellent community for women who are looking for a safe, nonjudgmental space to work out and feel good. The group classes are well structured and planned out. The instructors here are super talented and kind and empathetic yet motivating you to do your best. I have taken classes with Stefanie, Jamie, Gabby and Michela who are extremely talented but I know the other instructors that I am still to enjoy the classes with are phenomenal as well just because the love that floats around for them is visible. The classes range from spin, yoga, Trampoline, Pilates, strength training and there is something for everyone. This place offers a community of motivated females who are up and about way early in the morning and have gotten their work out while the world is snoozing their alarms still. All of the staff here put their heart and soul to keep the place clean, smooth, comfortable, cozy and oh yes this place smells so good. My only regret about this place is why didn’t I join early. Their app is super convenient and intuitive to use. Highly recommend this place.
    Body Blocks Fitness - Buffalo
Benjamin Curran: We were staying at the hotel next door, and decided to drop in for the day to Body Blocks. We chatted with the owner, Bob, for a little while and he was very welcoming. Bob took the time to show us around the facility, and explained all of the advanced recovery modalities that the facility offers. If we had more than a weekend in Buffalo, we’d definitely give the infrared sauna and NormaTec a go! You can tell immediately that the equipment in the weight room was hand-selected with a lot of care. Body Blocks has some amazing machines on the main floor from a variety of different manufacturers: Cybex, Precor, Hammer Strength, Hoist, etc. The facility was put together thoughtfully, not just plug and play from one supplier. The facility was clean, and the sparkling water option at the water cooler was a nice touch. If we’re ever in Buffalo again, we’ll certainly be back.
Run City at Ellicott Square Fitness - Buffalo
James Smith: I’m so glad I found this gym! There are times I like to get in an early workout before a busy day, and many other gyms don’t open until 5:30 or later. The environment here is clean, peaceful, and well-maintained. Being downtown makes it super convenient, with no long commute. I also love that almost everyone I’ve seen actually works out — no worrying about people hogging equipment while scrolling on their phones. I really appreciate the low-key vibe too; it’s perfect for avoiding crowded, hectic gyms. Highly recommend!
    Reform Fitness LLC - Buffalo
Sarah Bee: Nice place. Very welcoming to beginners. Edit: I’ve been going for a few months now. Some instructors are really great for beginners and will give form corrections. Some instructors do not. If you are trying this for the first time, talk to the instructor first and request guidance if you are lost. I ask a lot of form questions before and after class. It takes time to get used to the pace but it’s a really nice workout.
The Body of Wealth - Buffalo
Danielle Maclin: I cant say enough good things about this place! The only bad thing is I wish I had found them sooner. Coach L and Coach Dizzo are simply amazing. They push me every class and motivate me even on the days I dont feel like coming. The support you get from everyone here is top tier; everyone is like family. I will definitely miss working out here. I wish I could take them to South Carolina with me.
