The space is beautifully designed and equipped with the most modern machines and top-quality weights. The owners are incredibly warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to helping each person reach their fitness goals. They take the time to understand your individual needs, considering your schedule and any physical limitations. It feels more like a supportive community than just a gym. All the trainers are fantastic. I can’t recommend Iron Fortress enough

    Tom OBeirne: I joined CrossFit 516 exactly one year ago, and Ive gained so much more than I expected. The coaches, the people, and the atmosphere make it so much more than just a gym you go to before or after work. Its a place you look forward to returning to every time you leave. After feeling like I had reached the limit of what I could achieve on my own at a chain gym, I joined Crossfit516 after doing research into CF. After training at CrossFit 516 for the past 12 months, Im confident it was the right decision. Many members have been here for over a decade, and its not uncommon to meet people who have left other CrossFit locations to train here. One of the best parts for newcomers is the intro program, which is perfect for easing into the workouts. The coaches are experts and genuinely care about your progress. The workouts are intense but scalable, making them accessible to all fitness levels. I joined at 39, and there are members younger and older, so neither your age nor current fitness level should hold you back from checking out CrossFit516. One-on-one coaching is available, and training with Coach Ellen has been one of the best decisions Ive made (and Ive made a lot of great decisions). Initially, I planned to do a few sessions to learn more about Olympic lifting, avoid bad habits, and perform better in class, but Im going into week 24 and its far exceeded the goals and expectations I initially set. Its rare to get more out of something than you hope for, but that has defined my experience here. Theres always something new to learn in CrossFit, and its also a lot of fun. Whether youre in class next to someone training for the Open or "just" staying in shape, everyone is welcoming. If youre looking for a place to redefine your limits, achieve your fitness goals, and be part of an amazing community, CrossFit 516 wont let you down. The longevity of Crossfit516 speaks for itself. The coaches are incredible, and their love of CF makes training here nothing but a great experience.

    daniel Stasiukiewicz: I went in to see Brendan for a myriad of old injuries from 20 years of boxing training and competing. I learned so many things about my physiology and how to tend to old injuries with proper stretches and exercises. My quality of life has improved drastically and I would recommend Brendan and the team at Kinetix to anyone and everyone looking to heal. Dan

    Kryan: I can’t believe this gym is called lifetime this location is absolutely disgraceful. This place is dirtier than planet fitness you come here for a workout and you feel absolutely disgusting. It is so dirty here I told them countless times if they need somebody who can actually clean I will clean for the membership. scuff marks all over the floor squat racks look like they haven’t been cleaned in one year and on top of that I found a piece of gum in the sauna for $290 a month. This is absolute crime. Whoever pays $290 a month for this is getting taken advantage of. The only location that is worth this amount is Syosset the cleanliness of Syosset dominates the cleanliness of Garden City. The most I will give this location is two stars it’s absolutely dirty and needs a deep cleaning. Hot tub is also broken and making weird noises. They need to drain the whole hot tub and scrub the walls of the hot tub. I have attached a photo of the conditions of the hot tub. I’ve been to almost every single lifetime, including the ones in the city, and none of them are as dirty as this place this is looking like a LA fitness. The cost of the membership for the quality of this gym is insane and makes absolutely no sense. This dirty filthy gym makes me wanna quit and go back to push fitness new Hyde Park. That’s only $50 a month and is much cleaner. Thank God For Syosset, location or else I would have quit a long time ago. Very sad because this location is so convenient and has so much potential, but they do not know how to maintain this facility. The GM is not doing anything seems like he has no interest in maintaining this facility.Please communicate with Syosset and have their cleaning peoples come here because the people cleaning here are not doing anything and it’s ruining the lifetime image.

    Rachel Lampert: The staff is warm and welcoming, and the gym is never overcrowded. As someone who has previously dreaded being in a gym environment, its nice to get a workout in at a place I always feel comfortable at. They offer a genuine sense of community, and its the perfect place if youre looking for a personal, supportive fitness experience!
