Meshawn Stewart: I went to sell a pair of earrings my dad bought from Kay Jewelers for my mom. He weighted it first and said we have to check if it’s real after. He weighted it and said $55. I asked the weight he said “like 2 grams” not even an exact weight. I called my mom to check if that is okay. Her and my dad said ehh maybe idk. I ask him to check if it’s 14 karats why is it that low. He said to check it is $10 PER EARRING. I sell my gold all the time at Gold Exhange in Crossgates mall Albany which is 10x better!! I went there right after and got $140 the man checks it while giving an offer like normal. DO NOT GO TO “Ashley’s Guyana Gold” they are major scam artist fr!

Andrew Smith: Had a great experience at Kim’s Fine Jewelry. Don’t pay more just because other stores have a fancy store front. They were honest, easy to talk to, and they followed through with everything they said they were going to do. They gave me the best price out of all the jewelry stores i went to in the diamond district, and they also didn’t pressure me into a sale. They do their work in house too. I selected the diamond and told them the setting that i wanted and they made it happen! So glad i went to Kim’s Fine Jewelry for an engagement ring!

Carlos Miguel Lasa: Ara helped us with same day resizing for our engagement ring and was very professional, courteous and speedy (we were done in 10-15 minutes!). He really customized it so that it was a perfect fit - my fiancée was an eighth of a size up from what the ring sizer suggested. Would suggest calling him in advance to let him know youre coming - we came early in the morning and the building wasnt open yet, but he was very responsive on the phone. Hes located on the mezzanine floor of the building, room 21 (we got a little lost at first finding it). Pricing was very reasonable as well, especially for same day service! Would definitely come back for future jewelry needs!
