Denise Russell: I went to HCF in Jan 2023 as a last ditch effort to either avoid or prolong spine surgery that I had already put off for about five years. I was to the point of not even being able to walk for exercise without my glutes going into spasms. I didn’t know if I could work out at all. Jessica told me that they had helped others who had back problems and at the very least, we could work on getting stronger in preparation for surgery. From the very first day I started there, the coaches were attentive and not only helpful with modifications, but made it clear that they expect people to use modifications when necessary. A year and a half later, the need for surgery is off the table and I am stronger and more fit than I would have ever thought I could be. This is attributed to every one of the coaches at HCF for being supportive, safe and smart. The family-like environment is a whole other element that deserves a review of its own. I think many fitness centers can be uncomfortable, but from the first day I started there, I realized that EVERYONE fits in here…There are all ages, shapes, sizes, and abilities and everyone treats everyone so nicely. HCF coaches and members have become like family.

Called to see if I could train here and not only were they polite and professional on the phone, but they provided directions, buzzed me in and allowed full access to their facility while I was in town.
