Renee Canfield Took my daughter there today for an ear infection, brand new building, big waiting area. The receptionist was nice, and they calked us in quickly. Nurse was friendly, and Carley Dove was her nurse practitioner. She was friendly, answered all my questions and made sure my daughter was comfortable the whole time. Very happy with them so far. Will be using them next time we need a walk-in appointment. Thank you

Calvin Gordon I have seen several doctors here and have used the walkin service. I havent had an unpleasant experience yet. The receptionists have been very helpful. The doctors are very friendly and professional. I have been given very good health guidance here. The building and parking lots are new, very clean, and organized. I would recommend this clinic. They are improving and adding services since opening this new location in December 2024.

Jonathan Litz I called back to cancel my appointment. the receptionist lady said "Youre fine" in a rude tone. I was letting them know why i was unable to answer because i was busy with work.

Heidi Effinger Staff is lovely, almost zero waiting time, lots of follow-up and help with scheduling labs, etc…, freedom to schedule “sick” appts with a PA if needed. Ashley Barnard has a wonderful bedside manner and listens carefully, Dr. Cunningham very thorough and compentent. The gentleman in the in-house blood lab is kind, professional and gentle. My highest praise goes to the support staff, who are very patient and attentive on phone calls for scheduling, etc… My whole family is seen here by 4 different practitioners.

Joyce Burk Dr. Salomon is very attentive and concerned about her patients. She always listens to everything I say, not necessarily just what I am there to see her about that particular day. She cares about the overall health and how your life affects your health.

Heather VerSchneider I requested a second opinion from Dr. Salomon. She ignored everything I said and then responded that "at some point we have to trust the tests". Right, because the tests arent fallible, and the doctors arent fallible, apparently only Im fallible. By the way, the tests show lesions all over my body, including organs and bones, but since she doesnt know whats causing it, she and her cohorts are blaming me and say that "I just need some physical therapy". Dr. Salomon barely listened to my concerns and promptly dismissed them all, no examination, no tests. She is a bully. She uses her position of power to discredit patients and is one of the most irrational and unethical providers Ive ever met. Do not trust Dr. Salomon with your or your families lives!!!!

Rebeca D. Caceres Kylie super articulate. Dr Chang, Nurse Shane and Nurse Shannon are all so compassionate. They are knowledgeable and thorough. We got in and out in a timely fashion. Clean and organized. Highly recommend this place.

Tonilynn Egbowon I was really disappointed because I went there for treatment. They did do a urine, but they gave me really no solution to my problem. I don’t like the way they do their swabs. They tell you to do it instead of them doing it as they are the professionals not the patient. Plus, there were people that came in way after me and yet I was the last one left in that clinic last night Which they just made me sit around and be in pain I think I was better off going to Ithaca hospital. I would’ve gotten at least a solution to my problem.

David Austin This Dr. let me add him as my primary care provider earlier this year and is now claiming I am not his patient. He is also refusing to take new patients and went back on his word to have me as a patient. This man is breaking the Hippocratic Oath. I guess you could say hes a hypocrite. He cannot be trusted.

Placido Corpora I am 83.6 yrs old. and lost my primary care doctor. Both doctors Digiovanna and Bionnti have refused to accept me. (Due to over population of patients) Dont have a lot of time to find a good doctor in the Cortland NY area. Would appreciate it if they would reconsider their decision!

Shannon King This office should not still be open. I use the word "open" loosely as they usually have maybe one provider working. This has been going on for years! If your child is a patient here plan on going to urgent care for everything. So incredibly sad what a poorly run dysfunctional disaster this place became after Dr. Zarzrcki left. Doctors do not want to invest their time here. Theres a big new building thats in construction on West Rd. to sit empty. Such a waste.

Brian Strough Very concerned parent because of this mess of a doctors office. Had a plan in place for my newborn son with his pediatrician and after a simple weight check and gaining half of a pound an unknown doctor walks in doesn’t introduce herself and checks my sons body and blood pressure. Proceeded to report to CPS failure to thrive even though he gained weight and her recommendations were proven irresponsible by other medical staff. Extremely disappointed in the lack of organization amongst the staff as well. He has since been switched to a reliable and caring physician where this is not constant attitude from office staff and medical personnel.

AT HOME FITNESS Not Happy. The did not even draw my blood during a routine physical. They messed up my diagnosis.

Fred Marshall I would like a genuine answer as to why is it so difficult to see your primary care doctor? My wife called the third week in August to make an appointment. Was told November 18th. Almost 3 months. She asked to be placed on a cancellation list and the appointment has now been moved to November 13th. She called primary care with complaints and requesting to be seen again and was advised she would have to go to the emergency room. Is this the most effective way to handle patients who have a non-emergent issue? I understand emergent is at the discretion of the provider but give me a break, this is clearly a cop out. Tried video visits twice. Was charged both times but never saw a provider. Was willing to go to the walk-in clinic but that was closed. What is a patient supposed to do? Wait 3 months to be seen? From reading these reviews, it seems like Im not the only one with this complaint. People dont want to sit in the ER all day and pay an exorbitant copay for a concern that is clearly not emergent. She has submitted a concern to the website that has been mentioned in previous responses from Guthrie. We would like actual person to be helpful with a solution, if thats possible.

Indiana Mendoza I would like to give 0 star but you can’t! This is the worst service I’ve had, I’ve lived in Cortland for 2 years and what a shame that this is the only hospital. Right now sitting I’ve been waiting for 4 and a half hours. The reception team, nurses and doctors are brutally inhuman. You can come with pain, nausea, almost when you faint and they don’t care. With or without insurance if you want to die just come here. THE WORSE!!!!!

Michelle Sason This has been one of the most pleasant and supportive medical experiences I have had in a long time. Everyone was kind, professional, and communicative, which was especially important to me as I navigated a sudden heart issue. I even called the next day with questions about my prescribed medication and I talked with a PA who was wonderful and clear while also making sure that the Doctor who prescribed me the med contacted me as soon as possible to follow up. I am extremely grateful.

XAvion Irons This hospital is probably the least efficient hospital I’ve ever had the misfortune of needing to attend. I’ve visited several times on my own but today was what truly upset me when I visited with my fiance. She is pregnant and we came here after her normal care provider suggested she gets checked out at the local ER (we go to school at SUNY Cortland, so unless we travel to Syracuse or Ithaca, this hospital is our only option. What concerned me the most wasn’t the lack of urgency or poor organization of rooming (constantly moving us around the hospital), it was the fact that no one had written down any information that my fiance gave them. She was forced to remind care providers several times that she was pregnant and had to ask several questions surrounding a medicine they were going to give her before they realized her normal prescriptions conflict with said medicine. It’s clear that the priority here is not the safety of patients, it is to get you in and out as soon as possible. Which, even with that, you’re looking at a 4-8 hour visit because the staff is more concerned with socializing than the health of their patients. I can say with certainty that I will not be returning and if I ever need care in this area, I’ll be making the drive to Crouse Hospital in Syracuse.

Franco Valentino Came here for a buddy of mine that had a problem, went to the ER. Front desk lady and nurses were so kind , but I personally feel like nobody knew what they were doing. We were left in the room for like 2 hours with no answer and nobody checking in. I understand it was late and possibly busy but still it shouldn’t take this long. Honestly next time I would save my time and money and just walk off whatever injury it may be then come here.

Isabel Torres Was a patient here for around 10 years, decided to stay after Dr. Ahmad left (bless him) This place has hit rock bottom. I was constantly told to lose weight at each of my appointments, but when I tried to tell them I was working on it and seeing no results and wanted to try medication, they refused saying I didn’t try hard enough and told me my insurance wouldn’t cover it anyway. Then they referred me to a diet clinic that doesn’t even take my insurance! My psych provider then sent them a certified letter regarding his concerns over my high blood pressure, and they never spoke to him or even called to let me know that they were referring me to yet another diet clinic. You know, instead of setting up an appointment or getting me a prescription for high blood pressure medication?? These people were obsessed with my weight but when it came to any actual health concerns they were radio silent. They didn’t even respect my other provider enough to grace him with a response. That’s not even mentioning the fact that the nurses here are often extremely rude. It’s like they’re actively hostile to their patients for some reason. Anyone still going here needs to get out ASAP, anyone looking to change practices to here needs to run far away. You are literally not going to receive the care you need here, go somewhere else. I finally did and I never knew how easy it could be to meet my health goals when I could find a provider that actually cared about my wellbeing.

FLEDGE 444 My experience here has been completely awful across the board. Im in the process now of finding a new health care provider because having to jump through hoops to get my prescriptions filled has become ridiculous. Theres a list of other issues Ive had there but I will spare you the details. One of the nurse practitioners there is very inappropriate and has zero manners. "Horrible" is the only word that comes to mind with this place.
