Cameron Johnson Welcoming staff and volunteers who are there to serve and improve the experience of those who attend. They are open to answering questions, offering prayers and assistance with life’s challenges. Preaching is aligned with biblical values and centered around knowing the Lord more clearly. Sermons are delivered in a way that’s consistent going through books of the Bible. Small group gatherings are encouraged to build stronger connections within the larger church body.

Bryan Equinozzi North Ridge Church is truly a welcoming and uplifting place. From the moment you walk in, you can feel the sense of community, faith, and support. The worship experience is powerful and inspiring, with incredible musicians and top-notch production quality. The messages are always relevant to my life—uplifting, thought-provoking, and at times even entertaining. Whether you’re new to faith, returning after time away, or looking for a strong church family, this is a place where you can grow spiritually and feel at home. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a positive, faith-filled environment with amazing worship and engaging services!

Nick Bruno Northridge Church has been an absolute blessing for me. For the sake of full transparency, I grew up going to a much smaller church and my first impressions of Northridge, although there were friendly faces, were mixed as I felt intimidated in such a larger environment. I soon found myself creating authentic relationships and growing stronger in my walk with Christ than I ever have before. Ive been going to church here now for seven years and Ive loved just about every minute of it. If youre not used to a larger church setting, I would most definitely recommend sticking around and joining a community group. Northridge Church is making a tangible difference in Rochester and surrounding communities and Im thankful for the stories of redemption and life change that I get to witness week-in and week-out. Amazing!

GREGORY BOUIE Easily the most beautiful Church in all Rochester NY. It should be on the LIST TO SEE in Rochester. Just blocks away from High Falls, this church stands out as a beacon of hope both indoors and out. There is a threat to close this jewel but I think that would be a travesty on many levels of which I can not explain on this brief review. Visit this Church if you can. I promise you will not regret it

Patrizio Biondo At Sacred Heart Cathedral you will hear well grounded homilies with Fr. Peter VanLieShout; truly stellar advice during confession; beautifully organized and sung sacred chants and hymns thanks to their sacred choral director, John Morabito, who accompanies it with his lively and stunning pipe organ; and a smooth running operation of grounds due to their joyful office staff. Its a pleasure being part of the Cathedral Community @ Sacred Heart Cathedral!

Burrell Nicholás (Nico Nick) Reverend Celie katovich is remarkable and did an excellent job on our wedding ceremony! It was like she knew us on a personal level. She really paid attention and gave us a beautiful memory! But Angela was terrible at her job. She wasnt getting back to us everytime we tried to contact her and wouldnt until we contacted Reverend Celie. She took forever to save our wedding date even though we mentioned it over and over and she just kept saying it wasnt saved instead of saving it. I had to take over the wedding rehearsal and direct everyone because she really had no clue what she was doing. Then wasnt at the wedding ceremony but was suppose to leave explicit details for the two women who did oversee the ceremony and they seemed to have no clue what they were doing either. Our wedding service didnt go as planned. But it was still beautiful because of the gorgeous sanctuary and the wonderful loving words and spirit of Reverend Celie. They were all very nice people though.

Paul Smith It was Wonderful… welcoming, inclusive service. Partner and I arrived and there seemed to be something amiss. People crying, hugging. It turns out, the founding pastor had died 2 days earlier. Homily was a very special tribute and meaningful to those who didn’t know him. When you find yourself at a crossroads and aren’t sure what to do, “go to the poor.” Very enduring message.

Nisha Nikole My family and I loved this church, though we didnt stay long. We attended for a month or so before we stopped going. They had, I believe a guest speaker, he began preaching and within his sermon he stated "Jesus sinned too". I believe the pastor should know who hes allowing to teach before they mislead people. There should have been a correction statement before the end of service. As far as I know, nothing was done and I dont support lies and cant stand behind leaders that will not stand, publicly, for the Truth

Jennifer L One of the few handful of churches in this Diocese still practicing preBergolian Catholicism. Its reverent and the Pastor doesnt stand for any novus ordo funny business. Celebrates the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass ad orientem. A holdout from the days in the Clark desert, this Mass will help your faith increase. Many luke warm believers have been brought to a deeper understanding by attending Fr As masses. Miracles happen at OLV.

donna head I found this letter by the pastor at OLOV, and quite frankly, I was very sad to see a priest, who should be setting an example, writing such a letter full of anger and venom. I thought it was combative and judgmental, and below the dignity of a religious leader. I assume anyone who didn’t vote for who he voted for, wouldn’t be welcome at OLOV, the church where my grandparents, and parents were married, the church where my sisters and I were baptized, and the church that we attended weekly until we moved.

Andrew Owens Ive had chronic migraines for over a year due to a concussion I went to get prayer after service. As I was explaining what I needed prayer for one lady asked "are you excited that Jesus is going to heal you?" I guess because my request didnt exude enough enthusiasm... After a few people prayed for me, she started to have me repeat something after her and I guess she didnt like my tone of voice and so she stopped me and said "do you want to be healed?" I said "yes, but I dont want you do speak to me like a kid" Unbelievable..
