5 /5 Angela Rogers: This place is amazing and the customer service makes it even better. I tried to make a reservation online and technology was not on my side so I ended up calling and spoke with the owner Mary Alice and she was so warm and kind. We chatted like we were old friends. Check in was very easy and the room was perfect for what we needed. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was delicious. We also went to the outside bar to have a drink and enjoy the view. Check out was also a breeze, we sent Mary Alice a text letting her know we were checking out and she remembered we were in town for a wedding and asked if we had a good time. All of the staff was very welcoming and treated us like we were regulars. We were able to meet Mary Alice in person and she remembered our chat on the phone. I would recommend if your looking to stay somewhere off the beaten path you definitely check this place out.

5 /5 Carolyn Fico: This is such a beautiful place. In addition to a fantastic view of the lake, its accomodations are very comfortable and clean. There is a large living room, ample deck seating overlooking the water and seriously comfortable beds. The Beachcomber restaurant is right on the premises and had wonderful food. Mary Alice and Tammy ensured we had everything we needed.

1 /5 Lexi Dasson: Where to begin... We moved back to the area 5 years ago and have been frequent flyers to both the bar and restaurant. We have tried to support this place, as its only 30 seconds from our house. We have spent probably thousands of dollars here at this point and sadly our time visiting might come to an end. For starters, the food is always hit or miss, the service slow and poor, and some of the staff very unfriendly. When you are a regular that spends a lot of time and tips well, you want to be remembered but we never are. We are IDd every time we are there, which isnt that big of an issue, but recently was about the worst day we have had there yet. We ordered food from the fry stand - a sausage, burger and fries. After an hour and 40 min we asked the stand about our food and they didnt even have our order. They asked if we still wanted the food and we said yes considering we hadnt eaten in about 8 hours. So we waited an additional 20+ minutes for that. While that was going on, we were IDd every time we asked for another drink (while sitting next to the bar). I have never been to a place that asks for my ID every time I reorder a drink. The 3rd time I was asked for my ID when I ordered a diet coke, I made my frustration obvious, considering I had already been sitting there drinking 2 margaritas previously, but then for a diet coke?? The person realized that was a mistake, but again- we have been frequent visitors going on 5 years. All of the other local bars have remembered us after 2 visits. After waiting over 2 hours for a sausage and burger that wasnt even that great, and they still forgot the sweet potato fries we had also ordered. Unfortunately Im not sure if we will be back any time soon or recommend to anyone. It is a shame, as the location is beautiful and it could be a thriving business.

5 /5 Kayla Phillips: I did not leave a review on the room as we did not stay in the rooms we were here. To start my review when we entered beachcomber it did not look packed in anyway, however we were unaware of the reservations they had. There was some back and forth about the situation as we wanted to eat outside and be able to order off the restaurant menu. All in all I was a great experience I am thankful to the manager ( I didn’t catch her name) for finding a solution and our server James was amazing!!! All in all food was great service was great and I can’t complain.
