5 /5 Jade Strauss: My family came back after the reopening and the space feels so much more open and airy. The food is still amazing—honestly might be even better. We were starving and only snagged photos of dessert, but for dinner I had the mushroom ravioli and it was super filling and delicious.
I tried one of their cocktails (can’t remember the name). It skewed more tart than fruity for me, but my sister liked it.
Desserts were absolutely to die for! I’m sad they dropped the crème brûlée (also to die for. I would only come to Bocca just to have it and nothing else), but the blueberry ravioli—sweet jam in a pancake-like fried dough with vanilla ice cream—was outstanding. The Cookie Vesuvius Cake had a molten center that flowed chocolate, and the tiramisu was excellent too (no pic, we inhaled it).
Overall, the service was wonderful; our server had great recommendations. I’ll absolutely be back for dinner—and honestly, I’d come just for the desserts. I hope to stop by soon!
