5 /5 Abigail H: We came around 4pm on a Sunday, and the place was empty. All the workers were kind and attentive. Place feels a little fancy but we didnt feel out of place in our casual clothes. Beautiful music was playing at the perfect volume.
We ordered the vegetable pakor as an appetizer, and shared the beef vindaloo medium spice and saag paneer high spice. The paneer was mild in flavor and less spicy than the vindaloo unless you ate a bite of green pepper. This is my first time ordering beef vindaloo instead of lamb so it was nice to taste the flavors that usually are overpowered by lamb.
The food came with a big bowl of basmati rice and we ordered garlic and rosemary garlic naan. The rosemary was delicious on its own but I couldnt really taste it when eaten with the vindaloo.
Finally, I got a masala chai and it was so delicious, and the gulab jamoon for dessert. I couldnt taste any rose flavor, but it tasted a little different than other gulab jamoons that Ive had in the past. Still delicious!
