4 /5 Neil Clarke: Friendly service and the richies favorite chicken sub was great! Also good onion rings and the secret sauce was good with a little spice.

1 /5 Marzana Khan: Warning: steer clear of Chef Richies kitchen, folks, cause this place is a hot disaster. Im talking roaches lounging on the floor like they own the joint. We waited a crazy 30 minutes for our grub, and surprise, surprise, it was colder than the managements attitude. I used to be a regular, but after the roach party and major tude, Im ghosting this place. The boss was literally yelling at us for complaining about the wait, lol, talk about a bad joke. And let me tell you, the managements attitude was laughably, ridiculously bad. Its mind-boggling theyre still cooking, er, I mean, still in business.

2 /5 Diana: My daughter and I went there for burgers. She loved her veggie burger but my experience was the opposite. I had California burger and a piece of red velvet cake. Both were inedible. The cake seemed stale, bottom layer was hard. The icing had a strange plastic taste. My burger was disappointing too. All I could really taste was pepper in the meat which was almost burnt. The avocado was brown and tasteless. I could go back to try the veggie burger but not sure of anything else.

On my way back to Massachusetts, I stopped by Chef Richie’s Deli and grabbed a Chopped Cheese and Richie’s Cheeseburger — and let me tell you, it was worth every bite. Both items were cooked to perfection, served at the right temp — hot, fresh, and ready. What I appreciated most was the attention to timing. My food was held in the warmer until everything was finished, ensuring it was still hot when I paid and walked out. That’s care you can taste. Compliments to the chef — the flavor was on point and the service felt personal. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, don’t sleep on this spot. Chef Richie knows what he’s doing. I’ll definitely be back the next time I’m in the area.

2 /5 AL H: This used to be our favorite place, since Richie hasn’t been there the food has significantly gone down hill. No more pickled veggies we were told this is something only Richie does, the impossible burger used to be 2 patties now it’s one very sloppy and the flavor is completely different. The flavors of everything we have ordered is different now and it’s just not the same which is really sad. On a positive note Richie is up in Malta and his food in Malta is outstanding as always. I just wish there was the same flavor, consistency, presentation and cleanliness in Hudson as when Richie was there.
